A great place to stay

The property was in the perfect location to grocery stores, restaurants, adventures and anything else you would be looking for. It was a nice relaxing atmosphere. The host responded to us in a timely manner. I loved it and will be back!

Felt like home

This was a beautiful big house. We were thankful for the pool toys and chairs. The AC read 73 the whole time we were there and it felt amazing. We could never do that in Texas. Only thing that could have made it better was if they had an ice chest with the beach stuff so we would have to buy/ bring one. Took us about 10 mins to walk to the beach. House has a wagon to use at the beach.

Great vacation property

This home had plenty of space for our family and was pet friendly which was a huge plus. About a six minute walk to the beach and having the wagon was very convenient! The pool was very close, almost right across the street, which was also very nice and clean and well maintained. Overall a great trip!

Enjoyable stay

The house was beautiful and kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils and dishes. Check in and out process was easy. The 4th bedroom was really more like a small extra sitting area with a door and not as spacious as the other rooms but we made it work. Overall we had an enjoyable time and the neighborhood was peaceful and not too far to walk to the beach with littles. We really appreciated the use of the wagon and the large sized showers.

Some problems

Several issues with the property. One shower did not work for 5 days. The dishwasher was broken the entire time. We had to hand wash our dishes the entire stay. The main TV was way too small!!! No extra blankets for the beds. There should be a TV in every bedroom. First floor shower and toilet would benefit with grab bars for your older guests.

Relaxing and quiet

Beautiful home as advertised.... four bedroom four bath was perfect for five adults - three sisters and two friends from WI seeking sun and beach. The closest beach was farther than expected and $20 to park minimum of 4 hrs. so we drove 1.5 miles to Hendersen State Park and paid $6 to park for the entire day on a beautiful beach. It was great to have sand chairs for the beach which were available in the garage. Lots of shopping and restaurants close by. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, glasses, pots and pans... but zero spices so don't forget salt & pepper when shopping. Also, if there's a sheet on the pull-out, it probably hasn't been changed. We had to change the obviously dirty sheets and could not find anything but a couple couch throws to use as blankets which worked ok. The master bedrooms upstairs has a fabulous spa-like shower, but the downstairs guest bathroom could use a small table to put lotion and a toothbrush on instead of having to use the back of the toilet. Overall the home was beautiful, clean and the front porch rockers and chairs were great, as well as the second floor balcony. We would definitely return again.

Mermaids treasure in Destin

Property was great, clean, well equipped, and nicely decorated. Pool was nice but only 4’ deep, the pool deck is large and has alot of seating. Master bathroom is elegant with a huge closet. Payment, check in, and check out all smooth and painless. I would definitely stay there again!!

Beautiful home but needs cleaning

We love the house and location over all but the cleaniness was not up to parr. We'd encountered some dishes and pots with food residue still stuck on the plates and pots/pans. We'd also killed a total of 8 small spiders through out our stay. The cleaning fees are extremely high for this home not to be cleaned as it should. I am sensitive to dust and i can say none of the chandeliers through out the house have been dusted/cleaned for quite some time and cleaning behind the curtains had not been done in a while either. But as mentioned the home itself was perfect for a family of 8 and although the home is not located on the beach the location was not bad at all as it is close to everything such as resturants/shopping.

This place was PERFECT!!!

Took three kids and oldest daughters boyfriend. This place was perfect distance from beach and strip to find all of our needs. Short walking distance to the public access beach (which was amazing), REALLY quiet neighborhood with really cool houses that matched the one we stayed in. TWO master bed and baths, four incredible bathrooms, a gorgeous kitchen
 and decor that was well done! We are staying here again if we come to Destin!! This house was literally PERFECT!!!

1st Annual Divas Trip

Mermaids Treasure...ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS! I don't know who the owner gets to decorate, but let's just say, I wish they would come to TX to my home. The stay was absolutely amazing. The management team was absolutely amazing. The only issue we had was the TV in the master bedroom not working. However, that was fixed immediately! I love the keypad for the door. You don't have worry about misplacing or losing keys. Overall visit was a 10 out of 10. If I can make a suggestion...it may be nice for the owner to consider having a journal there for people that stay can read others opinions and leave a message upon departure. And maybe a pic or two.
