Loved are stay at the cottage. This was are third trip to Destin but this was by far my favorite place we have stayed. If I could rate it a 12 I would. Victoria was so so sweet & accommodating. She even offered let us check in early. Also my 16 year old decided come last minute & there wasn’t any extra charge for her. It’s so close to the beach, 2 very nice entrances. The kids ran back & forth all day. The baby loved the swimming pool. The neighborhood was super nice & peaceful. It was very clean & cozy. Absolutely will book this one again!!

Make sure to bring extra towels, toiletries because you won't have enough if your staying more then 2 days. Host advised there was a coin washing unit we could use or theres a extra charge for new towels and TP. Walmart was pretty close to get our own. Beautiful area, short walk to the beach. Didnt sleep well due to the loudness from the guests above us. You could hear every step they took all hours of the night. Third day the water company came to shut off the water due to non payment. Make sure to call the host because messaging on VRBO takes days for a response. Dont have a way to wash the sand off before entering which caused us to have sand everywhere. All the other units had something for the guest. Our water had a lock on it so you couldn't even turn the outside water on.

Most of the day went well, but we left the apartment on Monday and was not able to get back in because the code had been changed. It took us over three hours to get a hold of anyone. We were lucky that we had our cell phone with us or I’m not sure what we would’ve done. All the chairs out on the patio were broken and could not be sat in.

Our Worst Vrbo experience by far

This is our second time staying in this neighborhood, but by far our worst VRBO experience. Cockroaches in the house, bodily fluids on the mattress, broken AC that was not working at all when we got there. All of the lawn furniture was broken. The dresser drawers were broken. We were even promised a 540 refund by which afterwards she simply refused to send us and I have the email thread where she started playing games saying that she sent it do not book this property. You will regret it.

We did not get the chance to stay here. I never received a code to get in. I had messaged at 4 pm. Never got a response until 6:22pm and was still told that we could not check in until check in time which was two hours prior to 6:23 pm. Property looked okay from the outside. VRBO did cancel refunded me the full amount plus offered reimbursement for part of the other place we had to rent.

No place I’d rather stay!

Victoria was such an amazing host and did whatever she could to make sure we had chairs for the beach! The house was the perfect amount of space for my husband and I but there was additional space for even more guests if you need it. The house was immaculate when we arrived and she had everything you would need in the kitchen to whip up a meal. The beach is really a two minute walk and is within 5-10 minutes of anything you could want to do. I couldn’t have asked for a better place stay!!

Cute place across the street from the beach

Made a last minute trip with my daughter. The property was as described and in a great location across the street from the beach. We had a few maintenance issues but the owner was great and had the maintenance man there very quickly. There were only a few cons. The guests in the upstairs unit were really noisy (not owners fault) and the sound definitely travelled between floors. Also, the community pool is small. It was fine most of the week because we were there at a slow time but it was overrun the last day of our trip and may be too crowded to use during busier months. Overall, its a great place though, and i would stay there again. you

Did not receive check in access codes until. Hour after we arrived. Nothing was sent to us. Kept calling number provided by no one answered.Also nothing was sent to family staying above us. Had to call VRBO and they couldn’t get in touch with owner either. No parking pass in unit until we finally had contact with property manager. Also. Fridge had sand inside on shelf’s.

Great little cottage

Much enjoyed trip. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed for a short stay was provided. Great well working AC! The only one gripe would be the vendors and their chairs crowding the whole beach and you have to setup behind them but that's common in Destin. We always go-to Henderson State Park for the best beach.

Summer vacation

The condo was small but perfect for our family. It was walking distance to the beach and that made it great so we could come and go as often as possible. The host was easy to get a long and she provided me with all the info I needed. I would definitely stay again.

B-Day Getaway

Great Hostess, communication was excellent, bed was super Comfy. Just used the fridge and microwave and both worked perfect. Great area, very peaceful and friendly. Super close to everything you need to do and to shop. We loved being so close to the beach, it was a very easy walk. I would use again for future small getaway
