For a first beach trip for us this was an awful experience! Our room was not clean. The floors were dirty, there was mold on the inside of the shower curtain and up on the ceiling in the bathroom. There was construction going on the entire time of our stay so the noise got very annoying and there was dust all over our patio! This condo was very misleading it said it was a beach front view and it definitely was not, it was the parking lot view. They put into the computer the wrong date for our stay so we ended up getting locked out of our room because they had the wrong check out date. When it came to leaving, there were no carts to put our stuff on so we had to make 4-5 trips up and down from the 6th floor. We definitely will not be staying here again!

Unit was nice. Kitchen was very functional, a good variety of small appliances. Nice newer stove and fridge - ice maker was a PLUS!! If you like a "softer" mattress - then you'll like the bed. The sofa/bed in the living room needs attention. If its "new" it was a cheap purchase, and if its "old" it needs to be replaced. You only need to sit on it once to know what im taking about.

This was a private unit within the hotel. No soap/ shampoo at check in (took them until the next day to address). Towels were stained. Weird pillow on the couch was stained. Unit in below average condition. Not acceptable.

Terribly disappointed and angry!

We originally booked at SunDestin. We wanted to stay in Destin. The day before our trip we got a message we had been relocated to water edge at Ft Walton due to construction. We booked at Sundestin because it had a splash pad for the kids, a bar, a pool side bar, a hot tub etc. Water edge didn't have any of these amenities. Getting the message 1 day prior to our check in day was a slap in the face. There was not enough time to find a location where we could actually enjoy our vacation. We should get our money back or at least some of it back!

Construction!! Pools closed

Huge construction project going on that wasn’t disclosed in information. Entire facility noise and racket from construction first thing in the am until 5-6 pm. Elevator totally sketchy and outside very dirty. Outside pools closed and kids splash pad closed. Told construction would continue for at least another 6 months
