The Space:

Kick your feet up and relax at SunDestin Beach Resort, located just steps from the famed white sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico in the heart of Destin, FL. The Scenic Stays team is available 24 hours a day to assist you via our front desk.



With a variety of exciting on-site amenities, SunDestin Beach Resort is sure to become your vacation go-to for years to come. This family-friendly condo features a newly renovated outdoor pool, as well as an outdoor hot tub. Exercise in the fitness room, pick up a souvenir from the gift shop, or rent a complimentary DVD for a movie night. The gorgeous conference room boasts a gorgeous space for your next event or meeting. Additional seasonal amenities include an outdoor tiki bar, along with beach chair and umbrella rentals (fee).



Upon entering SunDestin 801, you will be greeted with a spacious, open layout, gorgeous beachy décor, as well as stunning panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico. Both the master bedroom and the guest bedroom boast relaxing spaces to unwind after an action-packed day. The gorgeous, fully equipped kitchen offers all appliances needed make your favorite home-cooked meals as well as plenty of storage space. Enjoy a family movie night after a long day of soaking up the sun on the beach, with the large television and DVD player in the living room.



The balcony provides seating for four, and is accessible from the master bedroom, ideal for sipping coffee while taking in the incredible gulf-front sunrise views or kicking your feet up and watching the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico in the evenings. This lovely two-bedroom vacation rental features comfortable sleeping options for up to seven guests with a large king bed in the master bedroom, a double bed and twin bed in the guest bedroom, along with a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. With picturesque views of the gorgeous beaches and a truly at-home atmosphere, SunDestin 801 can easily become your vacation go-to for years to come.



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.

Pictures were off the wall and laying behind the bed upon arrival in the guest bedroom. Bathroom in the master wasn’t very clean. The bed sheets had holes in them and not in good condition.

Condition

This is an older unit and even though recently remodeled there were some areas that need attention, such as the master bathroom. The sink drain would not raise and lower and water barely drained. The drain also appeared clogged as you could see the clogged debris. The plug in’s are also very loose in the bathroom. Besides these two things the condo was great.

The place itself was perfect, the rooms were clean & the view is great.. but the staff is 0/10. BAD

My group had a great experience with the room we rented and the beach was beautiful. However the staff at the SunDestin were less that welcoming. When we first arrived the man at the front desk gave us attitude because we tried to get our parking pass 1 minute before 11am, was very rude and said “seriously give me a break”. Horrible first impression. We were able to get our room early which was great and the room was perfect no complaints! We went down to the hot tub our first night around 9pm and had a security guard come up to us at 9:50 telling us “pool deck is closed get out” and when we were not out of the hot tub at 9:53 (hot tub closes at 10on) he proceeded to come back over and scream at us until we packed up our stuff.. he then followed us into the hotel continually yelling and giving snarky remarks and tried to follow us up to our rooms. He was so rude another patron in the lobby complained to the front desk on our behalf. Again awful experience with the staff and no one took our complaint seriously. So yes the rooms here are cheap and very nice with great views, but be prepared to be treated horribly by staff.
