The Space:

Welcome to SunDestin Beach Resort by Scenic Stays! This premier condominium in the heart of Destin is situated on a private beach overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. The Scenic Stays team looks forward to welcoming you to your next beach vacation at our 24-hour front desk. SunDestin Beach Resort features many onsite amenities including a newly renovated outdoor pool, indoor pool (heated seasonally), outdoor hot tub, steam room, newly renovated onsite restaurant, and much more!



Upon entry to SunDestin Unit 1114, you are greeted by a fully appointed kitchen, perfect for making meals or a quick snack to take to the beach. An open dining and living room immediately follow, with comfortable seating for 4 guests and a relaxing sofa and armchair set after a long day at the beach and pool. Sweeping views of the Gulf of Mexico and the emerald waters welcome you from the living room and spacious balcony with seating for two. Enjoy beautiful sunrises and calming sunsets directly overlooking the beach!



Refresh every night in the comfortable king bed located in the master bedroom, while guests relax in the queen sofa sleeper located in the living room. Enjoy the flat panel televisions located in the living room and bedroom both equipped with DVD players. DVD rentals are available in the lobby directly across from the gift shop!



Guests under 22 must be accompanied by an adult chaperone throughout their stay. Pets are unfortunately not welcome and are subject to immediate departure if found to be inhabiting a property. Smoking is strictly forbidden.



Please note that La Dolce Vita is the beach service vendor for this property. While beach service rentals are not included in your stay, you can easily contact them directly for all your rental needs.



The resort is only four miles away from an array of shops and restaurants at Harborwalk Village and Big Kahunas Water Park is less than a mile away. We look forward to greeting you at SunDestin as soon as your vacation begins- you'll leave ready to book your next experience with us!



Please note: As part of an exciting resort enhancement project, some amenities at SunDestin Beach Resort are currently under construction, including the restaurant, indoor and outdoor pools, and the splash pad.



During this time, guests may continue to enjoy beach access via the ADA-accessible pathway located around the side of the building. We are thoughtfully welcoming reservations now and throughout the spring while setting clear expectations in advance to ensure a comfortable, positive stay during this improvement phase.



These enhancements are designed to elevate the guest experience for years to come, and we look forward to welcoming guests in Summer 2026 to a beautifully refreshed SunDestin Beach Resort—one that reflects the level of care, comfort, and coastal hospitality our owners and guests expect.

Front desk staff

Front desk was very unhelpful and then tries to get us to go to a 2 hour presentation to buy into a time rental . I said no at least 4 different times and the girl speaking was so pushy it was starting to make me angry . I go on vacation to relax and not get solicited by the front desk staff . So very unprofessional and desperate . We will not return to that property

Great location and condo.

My only complaint is that the renovations that were happening were not clearly defined until AFTER I paid and confirmed my stay. I may have changed my stay to somewhere else with a functioning hot tub and outdoor pool. Otherwise the amenities were wonderful.

Nice little condo

Nice condo with great beach access and pool options. Only complaint about the condo is the shower head is so short, it was perfect for me (5’ 3”) but my husband (6’ 3”) could barely get in the water. Outside pool was freezing, inside pool was warm. Restaurant in the hotel was good but expensive. Many things to do around the area especially with kids. Thanks for having us !

Wonderful views and quiet!

I enjoyed the stay, it was clean, quiet, friendly staff and helpful! Beach/pool access was great La Dolce Vita chair/umbrella rental co. offer 1/2 day rates for rental from 9a-1p or 1p-5 p. If you love breakfast be sure to visit the Pancakery they open at 7am the wait time won’t be as long. I wanted to do the Tiki cruise didn’t get the chance to they had room for 1 person also drove to ft. Walton beach about 10-min away to visit Robinson’s Cruse Thru
