Welcome to our cute 3 bedroom ranch home w/ 1 bath. Located on the Northwest side of Detroit & close to Ferndale/Royal Oak. Safe neighborhood w/ street & fenced in backyard parking. Cable TV/WIFI & work desk. Enjoy any one of the many spectacular events at the Detroit Zoo.

The house smelled of smoke but says no smoking in description and 3 places throughout the house, so we had to go out and buy incense and found a cigarette in the hallway closet. the neighbors were loud and the host was rude at checkout. We had to go out and buy tissue and ran out of dish soap there was only a quarter of the bottle left when we arrived. Overall everything else was as described.

Space was very lived in
At first glance the property appears nice, but upon an initial walk through it looked to be very lived in; Sticky surfaces/furniture, dirty window, seals ashes in decorative center pieces. A window in one of the back bedrooms was broken, along with broken and dirty furniture. I informed the host about thee broken window and maintenance was immediately sent to fix it. When they arrived I informed them of the things I'd noticed that were broken. There were no paper products outside of the half used toilet paper and paper towels that were already on the dispensers. There was only a dirty sponge provided in the kitchen for clean up and no extra trash bags. The sheets also didn't appear to be washed and smelled of smoke. No one was comfortable getting into the beds, which were also uncomfortable. Not having central air or window units isn't necessarily an issue, but there were no fans available for use. We also couldn't open any windows due to them all being screwed shut. I informed the host as soon as I realized this issue. Unfortunately, I was informed maintenance would be off until the following day. I had to buy a fan and screwdriver to make the stay slightly more bearable. Unfortunately, this was not a very good stay, and it put a damper on the entire weekend. Resulting in one guest finding new lodging, due to the poor conditions.

The reason why I’m giving this three stars is because when I first walked in I saw dead bugs and the beds wasn’t comfortable, but it was so easy to get in contact with the host and the host was replying real quick.

You Get What You Pay For
Not the best but isn’t the worst! I had no issues except the bugs. The house isn’t lived in so the spiders where everywhere. It could use an old fashion cleaning also. Like wipe the walls and ceilings.

Stinky & Weedy
Not considered a property for rental to others. The bare minimum was done during renovation of this old house. The kitchen cabinets should had been part of the initial demolition. They had broken hinges and unable to close. The hardware floors need to be refinished. Upon entry, the closed house stench was horrible. Finally, only poor people sleep on microfiber. I should had stayed at a hotel. At least we could get cotton sheets and not sweat all night.
