Centrally Located Dewey Cottage - 1.5 Blocks to the Beach

Comfortable spacious two bedroom cottage 1 1/2 blocks to the beach. House sleeps 6 with 2 private bedrooms, each with TV and a queen bed. The front porch has a pullout sofa which leaves the main living area open for gathering. There is off street parking for two vehicles. Park your car and walk everywhere. This property has 2 homes on. It has a shared backyard with outside showers, barbecues(charcoal), and seating. There are 4 split units for cooling and heating along with ceiling fans for comfort. There is a full kitchen with all the amenities, including both a Keurig and a regular coffee maker.

Check in is 3 PM, Check Out is 10 AM. We will provide a 4 digit code to enter the property. Bring towels, linens, blankets & comforters, and paper products/consumables (toilet paper/paper towels/trash bags/soaps/etc). Pillows, mattress pads, and bedspreads are provided.

Minutes (walking) to restaurants, bars, fast food, coffee shop, town park, bay, shopping and entertainment. One mile to the Rehoboth Boardwalk and Funland with very reasonably priced rides for kids. Pick up the Jolly Trolley into Rehoboth at the corner. Park your car and never move it. Rehoboth Shopping Outlets 1-2 miles away. Lots of fine dining in Rehoboth.

Please note then new look including an encapsulated crawl space to ensure a comfortable low humidity home environment.

While propane is not guaranteed, we will reimburse with receipt if previous tenant used it all up. Please be safe and do not use grill against house. Please leave grill in clean condition.

We have 3 cameras installed outside in the common areas of the property - one at the parking, one at the back yard, and one on the east side of the cottage. This is for security purposes only. No smoking/ vaping of any substance inside the home.

Perfect location

This small duplex is in a great location - a block from the donut shop (haha) and many restaurants, and 1 1/2 blocks from the sand and waves. We (2 adults, 3 teen/preteens) enjoyed our stay.

My friends and I had a great time staying at this property over a summer weekend. Property manager was very helpful and nice. The check in process was super easy. Location is prime in Dewey beach. Would recommend others to stay here.

Perfect Beach Cottage

Once parked do not need to move can walk everywhere. The convenience store is pricey. So if you need basic supermarket is close. My family and I will definitely stay here again.

Lovely Beach Cottage

Perfect place to lay your head after a day at the beach. Convenient walking to Dewey Beach, restaurants, shops, and bars. After reading other reviews, we tried Sandy Pony Donuts at the end of the block and they didn't disappoint. Rehoboth is a short drive away, but really, stay in Dewey - we enjoyed it more there.

Great stay

We booked our stay in early February, and when an issue came up with the dates that we were supposed to be staying at the house, the host was very accommodating and working out a solution for us. The location was above and beyond what we expected with a short walk to the beach which was very manageable with 4 kids, as well as how close it was to restaurants in the area. The host has been making updates throughout, and was overall very comfortable.

The house had everything needed to a simple, quick beach vacation. I would say that it sleeps four since the pullout couch Was not in good condition. For a small family for a few days it works great!

Nice home.

Home was as described, clean and had everything we needed. Gravel drive was a little hard to navigate beach accessories and luggage from car to home, but not a deal breaker. Home was clean and cozy. Grill out back was clean and had propane. Would recommend and possibly stay again in the future.

Cute Cottage

This cottage is in the perfect location to all things Dewey. Steps from Starboard and just a short walk to all other restaurants, bars and the beach! The no frills house is perfect for a quick getaway or a week at the beach. My friends and I had a great time and spoke frequently all weekend about how much we enjoyed our limited time in the house, wishing we stayed longer than the weekend. The biggest part of it is how great Liz, the owner is. Liz was beyond accommodating and easy to work with, responding quickly to each of our questions. 10/10 would try and stay here again.

Great Location!

Our little family enjoyed our stay at this property. The location cannot be beat for the price. It made our walks to the beach with two little girls (5 & 9) easy and no stress. It is in a prime spot, with easy walking access to all restaurants and stores. The girls were especially fans of the sandy pony donuts and pizza from starboard sauced, both right at the end of the street. The house was clean, the beds were comfy. I’d say the only downsides were no outdoor deck and a bit of a musty smell. I will add that those two things would absolutely NOT keep us from coming back again. I definitely would. Elizabeth was responsive and kind.

Dewey experience

The best part of our rental was the short walk to the beach. The air quality in the unit was terrible. Although there was a dehumidifier it smelled musty and damp. The furnishings are old and the unit is in need of a major update. The backyard area with grill was not very attractive. Table and chairs old and general landscape non existent

comfortable cottage close to beach, everything in Dewey and Rehoboth

Nice, clean cottage with easy access to the beach and everything else. Only one bathroom but the outside shower is a big convenience. We enjoyed the enclosed porch too. Kitchen has all you need. We brought our own sheets, blankets and towels which I think is pretty typical for a beach house. Easy check-in/out.
