Room with a view

Walking distance to 20+ cool spots. AC was cold and quiet. No pluming issues. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Had to disconnect smoke detector due to chirping battery alert. Cleaning staff said they were short a maintenance man (pretty obvious anywhere you look). Local redneck (must live there) smokes frequently 5’ from the entry door. Owners should take more pride in the property. It’s a beautiful area.

Nice receptionist, but when we got to the room, the decor was very dated and the fixtures in the bathroom were very old, including the bathroom door’s metal hardware. The plug for the hairdryer was taped together. The bed was comfortable though; and having the makings for sausage and egg muffin sandwiches for breakfast along with fresh fruit was great.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean but beds were a bit uncomfortable and the sheets could stand some fabric softener, very scratchy. I would stay here again though.

Room was clean and employees were very nice. Property seemed to be older. My room was across the hall from the ice machine and the noise from people using the machine started around 5 AM. The breakfast seemed to me to be bland.
