great location to main train station
perfect location opposite the train station, huge shopping centre within a few minutes walk, plenty of taxis at the station for journey to airport,

Couldn't go there
Terrible city zone full of drug users and needle exchange point. There was 50 people hanging and sleeping and I couldn't enter to hotel and lost money. Never seen this kind of street before. Only suitable for male travelers, not for women.

Quality budget hotel in a great location
Basic budget hotel in a perfect location. No frills but if you're coming to town and need a spot in the city center, this does the trick.

Convenient location for Football trip
Conveniently close to the central station, football museum and town centre. Good choice for visit to Borussia Dortmund. Only downside was the 'double bed' was two twin beds pushed together, even made up as twins and with a full split therefore in the 'double bed'. Might as well have had a single.
