Hotel is old but, for some of us, that is part of the charm. Floor of my room was very creaky. Since I was alone it wasn’t an issue for me but don’t know how it would be for someone in the room below mine. I had a sea front room with a balcony. Patio windows are original, single pane glass but windows have heavy drapes that serve to block out cold winds. I would very likely stay here again.

Not sure who or how this hotel is rated as excellent. Hotel was misleading and does not meet the Hilton brand. We booked as it was a Hilton but i dont think it was a true Hilton, maybe a franchise? I had to leave as soon as i saw the 2 rooms. Customer service was amazing and nice man. They gave refund asap. Positives 1 - Nice customer service Negatives 1 - Windows let in cold air and draft as its old wooden windows, 2 - Window lets in lots of noise from road and marina 3 - Windows not air tight 4 - Windows have a sticker so cant be opened as pigeons may fly in! 5 - No heat when we came hence had to check out 6 - Rooms are in process of being refurbished but the recpetion and halls are dated/dirty

To me, this was the worst Hilton hotel I ever stayed. One could smell the wet paint in the room and the corridors. It seemed some areas are still under renovation or repair. I had to request for room swapping as my mistress was allergic to the paint smell. Housekeeping was missed the next day after swapping. I had to report to the reception for the concern and asked for new towels. Inter-team communication seemed insufficient.

Hotel was lovely, modern, with great views. Staff on arrival are extremely friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth the money paid. Parking is free and verified on arrival by giving the staff your number plate.

The hotel room was clean and newly renovated. The view out the small window though was awful - derelict parking lot and stuff. The hotel lobby is lovely and inviting and the staff was superb. The food in the hotel's bar was reasonably priced for the area. Shopping is literally behind the hotel and the beachfront is right there. I did however feel that some of the staff did not speak fluent English and the hallways were in the middle of renovation which made them ugly and sad looking. There was no room number on the door either. There were comprehension errors on the menu and signs in the building. One sign in the shower asked you to "put the curtain in the shower" when they meant the rubberized mat to keep you from slipping. I would stay again.
