Bon séjour à Douvres

Location trÚs sympathique avec des propriétaires trÚs accueillants et disponibles. Le séjour s'est trÚs bien passé. La maison est bien située, à proximité du centre et du chùteau.

Appena siamo arrivati Paul ci ha accolto molto gentilmente e ci ha mostrato l'appartamento nei dettagli.Cucina e sala molto spaziose.Camere al piano superiore carine e spaziose anche se il bagno si trova al piano terra separato dalle camere.Paul gentilissimo, ci ha fornito piatti e suppellettili in abbondanza.Tutto sommato OTTIMO!

First, we did not know that this property is on the hill side where there is no access to any public transportation including taxi. Although there is supermarket nearby but we have walk downhill and uphill. We were unlucky that the property was affected by the storm that all the piping was backed filled into the kitchen and bath room with one inch of flooding with water. We have contacted the owner for some settlement but so far there is no news for the past two weeks. The property is under renovation but not completed. The facility provided is minimal and correspondence is poor. They even provided the wrong code for accessing the building when we arrived.

needs work

overall cleaniness wasnt that good, shower had soap scum and mould , one towel for 24 hours, beds werent made an not enough sheets. Some cupboards in kitchen smelt of mould, backyard was a bit messy and could benefit from a tidy up , no refuse bin. no kitchen sink plug.

Dover prep for a cruise

We planned 3 nights in Dover in preparation for a cruise. Paul's house was perfect for us. The local market was very convenient and helpful. Trains to Canterbury and London for day trips were very easy to get to and use. Paul was very helpful with our checkin.

My friend and I wanted a place to be before going on a cruise. This place was exactly what we needed. The house was clean and the host was great in making sure we had what we needed. It was easy to get a taxi to take us to the castle or the coast.

Great Place

The home is great. Good location and very comfortable. Paul is an excellent and responsive host. We had a great and enjoyable time there. The bathroom and toilet is on the first floor which may be a concern. We would stay there again.

Lovely holiday

We really enjoyed the holiday in the property . Paul the property owner was very kind and very friendly with us . The property by itself was lovely and suitable for my wife and the 2 kids , with all the adequate facilities ; we enjoyed it. The Neighborhood was great ; and we were close to some nice place to visit as tourists, lovely restaurants and shops . We really looking forward to come back next year . Kind regards Christian

Great place for family holiday

Fitting accommodation

This was a good location for what we had planned to do on our short holiday to Dover. We wanted to visit Dover Castle, hike the White Cliffs and explore the surround area. Our family of six fit well; we had 4 children ranging from 2-14 years old. The check-in and check out process was very simple. We also were happy to find several grocery stores close by to stock up. We enjoyed our stay here.
