Cozy Cabin with Screened Porch and Fishing Dock on Lake D'Arbonne

This is our Happy Place, and we would love to share it with you. Our cozy hilltop cabin is nestled in a quiet cove on Lake D'Arbonne, just off what the locals call "Big Lake", with a view of the Spillway. We have beautiful lake views from almost every room in the house. You'll want to bring your fishing gear and your favorite fishing buddy to enjoy bringing in the dock. Our screened porch is perfect for drinking your morning coffee with a view, or for an evening card game with friends. An additional outdoor patio is covered and shaded, perfect for barbecuing or relaxing outdoors in the shade. Nearby is our firepit where you can roast marshmallows with a view of the lake.
Our three bedroom cabin is thoughtfully furnished and stocked to make your getaway as comfortable as possible. From cozy throws, games and puzzles, and a fully stocked kitchen, you will find everything you need to relax and enjoy your time at the lake. We have High Speed Internet so you can stay connected and a Roku TV so you can relax and watch movies with your family.
We have one covered parking spot to keep your vehicle or boat covered from the elements. We have room for two additional boat trailers, and then a u-shaped driveway that will accommodate 3-4 cars.
Just 8 minutes from Farmerville, 10 minutes from the Marina, you will love our location. As experienced local hosts, we are always glad to tell you about our favorite places to eat and shop. We are responsive and helpful hosts who love making sure our guests have a wonderful time at the lake. Come and enjoy our happy place!

Peace and Quiet That is what we wanted and this place has it!! A great get away from the hustle and bustle! We loved having breakfast on the screened in porch with the beautiful view of the lake without bugs! Holli was there for any questions and she gave us recommendations of good restaurants. Directions to the place are a little tricky. There wasn't a white fence like the directions indicated and there wasn't internet to be able to contact the owner. My husband said he liked the decor of the house I understand Everyone has a different opinion of clean. My, my the floors really need a good bleach/water wash! We threw away our white socks because they were so dirty from walking around the inside of the house. It could use a good spring cleaning inside and outside. This place had ALL the things I always look for in a cabin; location (outside of town), king size bed, AC, and sceened in porch (I'm allergic to insect bites). We have already suggested this cabin to some family and friends!!!

We enjoyed our stay and will hopefully return. The only issues we had were a soft spot in the floor by the bathroom, a few bugs in the downstairs and not knowing how to control the air conditioning. These are all minor things that didnt keep us from having a lot of laughs, relaxation and an overall good time. The owners were very, very responsive and kind and we greatly appreciated them. Recommend both them and this location.

The cabin was very cute and cozy..we were able to do some fishing and even with the weather being chilly we had so much fun and even caught a few fish. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could ever need. Beautiful views of the lake were a plus,plus! I would recommend and we will be back.

Perfect Get-Away Cabin

We had such a relaxing time at this cabin. Had it not been 100 plus degrees outside we would have enjoyed the lake more. We caught one small catfish off the dock though, so that was a bonus. We will definitely return when the weather is not so hot and we can bring our boat. Thanks so much!

UTTERLY RELAXING

This listing was a jewel!! Immaculately clean. Abundantly supplied! You can tell the owners put so much thought and care into stocking the house. Everything was provided! Coffee on the porch in the morning; hearing the birds, watching the flow of the lake, so very healing! Husband and son fished right off the lakeside. Caught a few bream, a catfish, a LARGE softshell turtle, and juuuust missed an alligator gar. They were biting on worms. All in all, such a wonderful and relaxing time. Excellent choice for some quiet time!

Cabin on the lake

Had an amazing time! The location on the lake was perfect. It was very relaxing and we had everything we needed. My daughters and I will definitely be planning another trip back. We enjoyed some fishing off the dock, sitting on the screened in porch, and playing with the sweet yellow dog that met us when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with all the amenities. I highly recommend this location to anyone wanting a relaxing time away on a beautiful lake.

Paradise on the lake!

You can literally feel your tired soul swell when you first sit in the rockers on the deck overlooking Lake D’Arbonne. Holli has seen to your every need. The beds are sumptuous, the kitchen stocked with everything you need
just bring the food. If you can tear yourself away from the view there’s a large screen TV, games, fishing, and a fire pit. This was just what I needed! Highly recommend this incredible cabin in the pines, right on the lake with a dock and more chairs to watch the sunset. Thank you, Holli! We’ll be back! ❀
