This was a lovely place to stay in a nice, quiet, rural location.
This was a lovely place to stay in a nice, quiet, rural location. There were lots of touches to make the accommodation family-friendly, such as provision of a travel cot, highchair and plastic bowls, cutlery etc in the cottage. Our little boy enjoyed seeing the animals and running around on the big field. My main suggestion for improvement would be the addition of blackout blinds or curtains in the bedroom. On a summer evening in late June, the bedroom was still in daylight with the thin curtains drawn. Our 14-month old, who is used to going to sleep in the dark, was upset and took a very long time to go to sleep. If travelling with little ones, I'd recommend taking one of those stick-on blinds to darken the room to avoid the same problem. Otherwise this was a lovely weekend break.
