I checked in on January 4 night 11pm and requested a taxi in the morning to take me to the airport. I left the room in the morning and took the taxi to the airport. The taxi smelled really bad ! Also, I forgot my gold bracelet in the room and contacted the hotel when I got to the airport. I requested that they go straight to the room and check for my bracelet since it was expensive but they did not and said they have to wait until it gets cleaned. The called multiple times again and said they found nothing. One person said that they sent me an email to my address on file but I did not receive anything. No help at all and very un credible with everything they say. I know for a fact that I left the bracket in the room cause I was supposed to wear it until I got a phone call that made me leave the room in a hurry. Very sad and unprofessional.

It was our first visit to Dubai so we were clueless. On checkin, the reception staff wasn’t too welcoming and wasn’t very interested in explaining about hotel facilities, dining options, shuttle facilities etc and seemed more eager in serving others. We felt overall, hotel staff seemed to have more consideration for local sheikhs and we felt less important . He handed us a leaflet about meal options. This didn’t give us too much confidence . We wasted a lot of time going around enquiring about the restaurants and gym/steam room etc and gave up on any intention of availing the free shuttle facility to explore the city and stayed indoors throughout
