The location is great. Closed to many famous spots. Staff are friendly and attentive. Verity options for Breakfast and foods were tasty. I enjoyed staying in my room watching busy downtown traffic and the tallest building/tower at night. The hotel can accommodate with a lot of things for you to enjoy the city. What a pleasant surprise. I have been to Dubai many times and usually favor luxury hotels by the beach. This time, we were just in for a few days to celebrate NYE and so our needs were slightly different. We were looking for a hotel with unobstructed view to the Burj Khalifa so we could watch the fireworks. Unlike many other properties that charge ridiculous amount per night to get to experience the NYE fireworks, Rove Downtown was reasonably priced considering the festivities. I had pretty high expectations for the Burj view I paid for but otherwise lower expectations for everything else considering this was a 3 star property. Wow! The hotel surpassed everything we were hoping for. From the friendly staff, to clean and relatively spacious rooms, to great amenities (24/7 mini market), to fabulous location (across Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa) and generous checkout policies, we were extremely happy to have chosen the Rove Downtown. Special thanks to the reception team who let us checked-in in the early hours of the day to accommodate us and our 3y old. I will not hesitate to stay there again if we're back for a short break.
