Great location but NO air con

The property was in an amazing location. Right in the water. There was a real community feel mixed with a good holiday buzz. Great bars and restaurants within minutes walk. Great beach and plenty to explore on the water. We took our own paddle boards but the sea kayak was a great addition. HOWEVER, despite it saying so in the details there is NO air conditioning at all. Given the temperature was in the mid to high 30s and high humidity it made the stay incredibly uncomfortable. We never looked forward to getting back to the property and sleeping was a real problem. Fans were provided but they were completely ineffectual. How they can get away with such blatant misinformation is a mystery. We would never have booked the property if we had known there was no air con. Communication with Vrbo and the owners was impossible so left very disappointed and we will be looking for compensation. Hired a car for the last couple of days just to get some time in air conditioned environment and drove up the coast. The garden is lovely but is ridden with mozzies. Tortoises were however a welcome distraction for the kids and the location meant stay was atleast bearable. Overall though left with bitter taste.
