Beautiful location on a bluff above the river

Four mounds is located on a bluff high above the Mississippi River. We stayed in the cabin so we had plenty of privacy. There is one bedroom, one bathroom, and two twin beds in alcoves in the main living area. There was a working fireplace with firewood ready to go. The scenery was beautiful and yet there were restaurants and convenience stores nearby. We would love to come back again.

Beautiful, relaxing and historical B&B

Lovely stay at the Four Mounds, Dubuque, Iowa. Immaculately maintained historical house with loads of character and history, set on beautiful grounds. Our innkeeper, Maria, was a delight and very gracious.
