Hotellet och byn har sett bättre dagar. Speciellt Husova delen är rätt förfallen. Hotell ok ändå, ägare trevliga men man får vad man betalar för. För barn så kan man välja annan plats.

Hotel adekwatny do swojej ceny. Minusy to między innymi słabe WIFI (działa najlepiej przed hotelem, ale już nie w pokojach), brak restauracji na miejscu (choć można tam zjeść śniadanie) oraz przedziwne umiejscowienie mebli w pokoju (do mojego wchodziło się wprost na... szafę). Plusy to między innymi w miarę cicha okolica oraz niska cena noclegu.

Unsere Übernachtung diente dazu, zwischen den Rennen auf der Rennstrecke Most nicht wieder nach Hause fahren zu müssen. Das Hotel in Duchcov gefiel uns, da es relativ nah an Most lag, ein sehr großes geräumiges Zimmer und nette Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption bot. Es ist ein einfach gehaltenes Hotel, welches sich sehr sauber und gepflegt darstellte. Auf der Suche nach einem Restaurant für das Abendessen war die Mitarbeiterin der Rezeption behilflich.

Sowohl das Hotel als auch der gesamte Ort haben die besten Zeiten bereits hinter sich. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist aber dennoch in Ordnung. Positiv ist das freundliche Personal und das funktionierende WLAN auf dem Zimmer. Das Auto steht auf einem verschlossenen Parkplatz. Für eine Durchreiseübernachtung durchaus zu empfehlen. Das kulinarische Angebot beschränkt sich auf eine Pizzeria, die aber eine hervorragende Pizza anbietet.

Ho trascorso una notte a metà agosto all'Hotel Casanova con la mia famiglia. In una posizione tranquilla ma a due passi dal centro del paese, accanto alla cappella dove è sepolto Giacomo Casanova, siamo stati accolti con cortesia dalla titolare (unico problema, la lingua: ceco o tedesco, niente inglese), che è stata molto disponibile a posticipare l'orario del check-out la mattina dopo, dato che mio figlio non stava bene. E' una tipica pensione, pulita e comoda, con stanze e bagni dotati del necessario. Unica pecca, un po' di disorganizzazione nel ristorante, piccolo e con servizio piuttosto lento. Nel complesso, un ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo

Decent hotel with friendly staff

We used this hotel as a stepstone to visit nearby Therezinstadt on our way to Prague and we were very satisfied with it. It offers no-nonsense accomodation at an affordable price and includes an PK breakfast. I would use it again if I were to do the same trip.

this hotel was a good, clean hotel for a one night stay. The beds in Europe always leave something to be desired but all else was good. The young man in the bar was great. We got in late and he was just very nice. He did make us a meal (not great) but it was late and he had to make it himself. The next morning we got our wires crossed and missed breakfast. The same young man came in and offered to make us something. It was the usual European breakfast but that was so nice of him to offer. He is an asset to this Hotel. Not sure about a longer stay but for a night or so it is good, and the rate was good. Location not really sure what it is close to.

Brugt - men udemærket til korte overnatninger

Boede på hotellet en enkelt nat ved hjemrejse. Overnatning var booket online via hotels.com. Receptionisten forstod nogenlunde engelsk, men ville heller tale tysk. Værelset var stort, med udmærket seng og badeværelset var okay, - men gamle installationer, men hurtig varmt vand. Der var fint fungerende Wi-Fi på hotellet. Jeg skulle indtage aftensmad i restauranten på hotellet. Kokken og "servitricen" sad begge i lokalet, ingen af disse forstod engelsk overhovedet! Menukort fandtes med nogen få sider på engelsk. Nogen af disse retter, var det ikke muligt at bestilling ( Måske grundet at jeg var eneste spisende gæst? ). Maden kom meget hurtigt og var okay og billigt, jeg var den eneste gæst i restauranten. Hotellet bære desværre præg af at ligge i et meget forsømt bydel/by lokalet i restauranten kunne trænge til en opfriskning med lyse, hvide farver. Det samme gælder lokalet med receptionisten og selve indgang. Gangene, trappen og værelserne er okay. Jeg tror, at jeg var blandt den ene af tre overnattende gæster, da parkeringspladsen kun havde min egen bil samt en anden da jeg forlod hotellet kl. 07:00 fredag morgen. Morgenbuffeten var meget simpel og jeg fandt aldrig ud ad hvordan man fik varmt vand ud af deres "kaffemaskine", så der var ingen te til morgenmaden. - Det er desværre meget skummelt i området omkring hotellet...

Absolut nicht empfehlenswert!!!

Duchsov (zu deutsch Dux) ist eine kleine Stadt mit ca. 9000 Einwohnern. Sie lebt von der Historie (altes Schloss, Casanova war da mal Bibliothekar, etc.). Genauso alt stellt sich das Hotel dar. Man fühlt sich in die frühen Fünfziger Jahre des vergangenen Jahrhunderts versetzt. Das Hotel is komplett ein RAUCHER Hotel. An der Rezeption empfängt einen frischer Rauch, in den Gängen und Zimmmern schwebt kalter Rauch. Die angepriesene Klimaregelung bezieht sich auf das Auf- oder Zudrehen der Heizung oder Das Öffnen und Schließen der Fenster. Das Restaurant verdient seinen Namen nicht. Wir haben uns auch nicht auf ein Frühstück eingelassen. Der Fernseher ist klein und bietet nur den Empfang tschechischer Programme. Positiv: W-LAN funktioniert. Im Rahmen der Möglichkeiten ist das Zimmer und auch der Sanitärbereich sauber.

Simple clean hotel with personell that do their best to make you feel comfortable, although it was hard to communicate in English/German. The breakfast has what to expect in the Czech republic on a hotel in this price level, nothing fancy, but you get coffee, yoghurt, ham, cheese etc.
