Driftwood Beachfront Getaway, sleeps 8 comfortably, fully air conditioned.

Driftwood is a beautifully appointed 2 bedroom/1 bathroom elevated tropical home, situated on the picturesque cliff front of Andreas Ave.

This property is family orientated as the beach is easily accessible.

WiFi is included as well as a TV in each room

Driftwood is situated on the waterfront with access to the beach.
The house has 2 bedrooms with a queen and 2 singles, (as a bunk bed) in each room.
The living area has a kitchenette with modern gas stove/oven, family size fridge, microwave and all the utensils needed for a comfortable stay.
The downstairs bathroom/toilet also has a washing machine and dryer in the room.
Underneath the house is another outdoor setting, fridge, BBQ, pool table and dartboard.
The Deck is a perfect spot to sit back and relax after a day of fishing or exploring, to watch the beautiful top end sunsets over the water.
There is a great little fireplace to sit around when the weather permits.
The property has plenty of turnaround for those boats you may bring to go fishing.

One of the many features is the shady vegetation, including frangipanis, beach hibiscus, beauty leaf trees and coconut palms.

A substantial fire pit surrounded by pavers is perfect for a camp oven (bring your own) or wood BBQ with grate, where you can cook up you catch of mud crabs

You can enjoy the cool sea breeze while sitting on the elevated front deck enjoying the spectacular top end sunsets. A pedestal and floor fan are available if the breeze drops off.

The house sleeps 8 comfortably with 2 doubles and 2 sets of single bunk beds. The 2 bedrooms are air-conditioned and there are ceiling fans throughout.

The house is fully equipped for all your needs to have an enjoyable stay.
The kitchen has all the electrical appliances, crockery, cutlery and pots and pans that you need. A large fridge, microwave and modern gas stove. If you prefer a hooded gas BBQ is situated downstairs.

There is an indoor dining table and lounge but most people prefer to use the outdoor dining setting on the deck, which seats six.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

CAMPING-Definitely no camping on the property.

SMOKING- Absolutely not in the house, downstairs away from the house only.

PETS- Must be arranged when booking.

LINEN-Linen is included for your stay

BOOKINGS- A minimum of two nights is required on two day weekends or through the week. three nights on long weekends.
Easter we require four nights.

Check in time is after 2 pm. There may be times where we have a quick turnover so will have to ask that your check in is after 3pm. You will be advised of this if needed.

Check out is by 10am.

Had a great weekend. The shower was prob the best I have ever had in my life. Everything was near perfect, just would be nice to have toilte up stairs but we all had the best time. Very clean and all the little things you need to cook for the family. Beach out front was super beautiful. Thanks for the great memories.

Quiet tropical stay, perfect view

Nice property, great view, easy to arrange with property manager. Only issues were the quality of the road to get to the property (not in their control), the mattress was as hard as a rock, and insufficient toilet rolls provided for the length of stay and the amount of people we had. Overall the property was good and I would recommend for others.

Great view and location

Property was clean and comfortable and had a great view of the sunset over the ocean. We spend most of the weekend fishing, boat ramp was a short drive away!

The place was easy to find. Clean with good cooking utensils, pans and pantry staples. Nice to find a loverly table and chairs at the adjacent cliff top for magnificent sunset views! We left some citronella candles for others to use as the mozzies were predictability in force! If all the coconuts were trimmed off at least the TWO trees with the hammock, we might have enjoyed lying on it. One coconut had fallen close recently
 The fire pit was great and neatly stacked with wood debris. Would have been good for the small living area to also be air-conditioned too as it heats up . Also roll down shade cloth on western side of balcony would make this cooler in the afternoon.

Family weekend

One of the better properties we've stayed at out at Dundee. Close to the beach and plenty of features around the home to keep everyone entertained. The kids enjoyed the dart board and pool table.

Amazing location and so private.

Had a fabulous time. Close enough to the lodge if needed, but loved being that distance away where it was so peaceful and quiet. Property was lovely and clean and offered all the requirements for a perfect get away.

Quiet getaway

The house is beautiful, very clean, great views. The appliances in the house work really well, and the beds are very comfortable. It was a really peaceful couple of days and very easy to check in. A couple of things to keep in mind. The bathroom is downstairs, which is a bit of an effort during the night. There are security cameras not listed on the property description. They point to the entrances of the property but one seems to capture you every time you walk towards the bathroom downstairs which does take away from the privacy factor a bit. We were expecting a pool table from the pictures. They may need to be updated as this wasn’t there when we arrived. Other wise Jenny is great at communication and the house facilities are all very easy to use. The house feel is very homey and cosy.

Dundee trip

House was great, very well equipped. The only thing couldn’t really play pool on the pool table as it isn’t straight. We took dogs, house has a great fence but they could get through the front gate. Everything else was awesome. We had a great time 😄
