Parkview Cottage is a 2-bedroom farm cottage, perfect for small families looking for a peaceful escape, sleeping up to 4 guests.

Located in the Angus countryside on a family farm, this recently renovated cottage offers reservoir views through into Fife and quiet country mornings, just minutes from the beaches of Carnoustie and Dundee.

Positioned at the end of a single-track drive, there's never any traffic, or overlooking houses, just the Angus countryside and birds singing in the trees.

The space
The cottage has a comfortable open living area at the heart of the home. In the living room, cozy up by the log burner with stunning views toward Monikie Country Park as the sunlight brightens the room.

The fully equipped kitchen is set up for self-catering, with seating for 4 at the living room table. For added convenience, a washing machine is under the worktop, making longer stays hassle-free.

The cottage features two beautifully appointed bedrooms, designed for both comfort and relaxation. The master bedroom, located at the end of the cottage, has a king-size bed, a dedicated workspace, and a sofa at the foot of the bed, perfect for enjoying peaceful morning sunrises as you prepare for the day’s adventures. The twin bedroom, nestled beside the master, offers a cosy and welcoming space, making it ideal for children.

Outside
Make full use of the spacious front garden and private driveway, where you can sit back with food and drinks while taking in uninterrupted views across the surrounding countryside. With no passing traffic, it’s a peaceful and completely private setting, perfect for slowing down and enjoying the quiet.

To the back, you’ll find a secluded garden with a gravelled sun trap, designed to capture the sun throughout the day. This natural sun trap is ideal for relaxing with a morning coffee or unwinding in the evening, offering a warm and sheltered spot to enjoy the outdoors in comfort. Surrounded by open farmland, the cottage is perfect for early-morning walks straight from the door.

Bringing a dog along? There's a sheltered kennel on-site, attached to the shed across from the cottage - handy as a covered, secure space for your dog, and great for letting them dry off and settle after a wet walk on the beach or hills nearby.

Guest access
Guests have full use of the cottage and the back garden. The wider farm is a working family operation, please feel free to wander the public paths around Monikie Reservoir but stay clear of the farmyards and the north wood behind the cottage, as many animals nest there.
