As I checked in after hours, I felt the system was helpful and got in to my room no issues. The accomodation itself was great!
However, I had booked an EV Carpark which carried an additional cost, but was necessary as I required a full charge (overnight) to get back to CHCH the next day. Problem was, there was no communication given on the booking information that no charging cable is supplied! I was not offered a cable from the complex until I complained the next day, which was too late as I had already gone and charged the car at a public DC Charger costing me $45. I recommend that Quest communicate this upon booking the EV charging OR they ensure when people check in after hours that there is a charging cable for them to access. This could have caused a major issue for me, but luckily there is a public charger near by at New World, albeit costing me $45 I wasnât expecting to have to pay.
We LOVED this property, from the warm, friendly welcome to the beautiful room with everything you need!
The staff are super friendly and helpful. Just around the corner to the buses and Octagon and we enjoyed a short walk to the stunning Railway Station. Close to Woolworths, City market and was so quiet.
100% recommend for rugby games!
Loved our little apartment for a short stay in dunedin. It was very clean and well positioned to walk into the city, restaurants, attractions etc. Highly recommend it. If you have a car you pay an extra fee but the carpark is secure and undercover.
Not so good - we booked a 2-bedroom apartment months ago - in February for a May booking- as we were travelling a couple and adult daughter - but this was not provided - just 2 rooms next to each other. I have stayed in Quest apartments often, but this was disappointing in the Dunedin Quest -it's not an apartment - it was a pretty average, smallish motel-style room. Very basic servicing - just replaced wet towels -didn't make bed. Plus, they missed my daughter's room altogether. Check-in was a nuisance as we were given one key for one room and nothing for the second room. Had to go back and get extra keys. We paid a pretty high price for pretty average accom and probably not choose Quest again based on this
Big, clean and comfortable room with small kitchenette. New and modern. Bed was very comfortable. Short walk to the centre of town and cafe's/shops. Shared foyer with room next door so some noise when coming and going.
