It was not verybeasy to find at first and we were unsure about the parking. However once we arrived and were reassured that road side parking was free, we felt more relaxed. The staff were very friendly, and we managed to communicate in broken English. The rooms are spacious only downside was the free internet which did not connect very well. BreKfast was good, selection of various continental foods. We would definitely stay again (perfect for just one night)

This hotel is definitely not a 3 star, the room / bathroom is very dated and dreary. The breakfast was fine and worth the money, regretfully the road outside was being dug up which made it very very noisy during our stay. Sorry but I can’t recommend this hotel.

Close to airport. Friendly service. Room was clean and bed excellent. Shuttle bus for airport on time. Parking 12€ per day, at site, security with fence. Will come back. Half price compared to hotel at the airport.. only minus is 2 km drive to terminal

The property was close to every attraction in Dunkirk. This was a huge plus. We Didn't eat breakfast (@ EUR 10 per person) but walked out to many bakeries and the tea room in the Jean Bart place (3 min walk) which was cheaper. The room didn't have the family room i booked but they accommodated by giving two inter-connecting rooms which was really good management of them.. The beds were low, and was a bit oldish mattresses but it was fine for our short weekend stay. Over all, i'd really recommend this hotel as the staff were friendly and accomodating.

The room was very tired . The showers were very poor etc. The breakfast we paid 30 euros for four was really poor . The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A good Welcome

Comfy bed, good sized room, very powerful shower. Black out curtain was very effective. There’s parking at the front of the hotel - between 6pm and 9am it’s free and you can just buy a new ticket from machine to extend your parking. Think it was less than 9 euros for a day. There are other car parks near by, but one of them has a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays so don’t park there!

When we arrived, the property had a plumbing problem that made several of their rooms unusable. So, they rebooked us at another hotel, which was fine, but they told the hotel we needed one twin room, when in fact we had reserved a room with 3 twin beds. Thankfully, new hotel had one room left available and gave it to us fir no extra charge.

Get less what you pay for:(( I found the price for what we’ve got too high. someone else previously mentioned a ‘strange smell’ in the room... I can confirm this was also the case in one of our rooms! The breakfast was sooo poor! We paid €10 for adult and €5 child, only to find rotten or tinned fruit as option, only bread or choc croissant for pastry, and very limited variety. When I asked if they had cooked breakfast such as bacon and pointed out that the fruit was rotten and would like some fresh fruit for my kids or perhaps plain croissant the waitress went livid and kept repeating ‘bacon!-ha’! Nevertheless we were charged the full price and ZERO apology!

We actually did not stay at the Welcome Hotel, as when we checked, we were informed that the hotel had no hot water. The front desk person made another reservation for us at a nearby hotel and told us that if that hotel charged us more than we were to pay for the Welcome, the Welcome would cover the additional charges. Great service :-) i just felt bad that the welcome Hotel.lost all that revenue.
