Luxury Home on 8 Acres - Fantastic Views and outdoor space - 20 Min to DGO

NOTE: 4WD/AWD required in winter (December through mid-March). There is a 2nd vacation rental on the property 50 yards from the cabin, but there are no shared spaces.

Our 4 bedroom/3 bathroom home is just 20 minutes (9 miles) to historic downtown Durango and 45 minutes to Purgatory Ski Resort (33 miles). Situated on 8 acres offering privacy and seclusion - yet just mins from downtown Durango and at an elevation of 8,200 feet, always cooler in the summer than downtown. Enjoy an alpine setting with room to roam and exceptional views, while being close to all of the incredible amenities and recreation you come to Durango to experience.

The homes features amazing outdoor living space including tons of covered outdoor space with chairs and a dining table as well as a gas fire pit and hiking trails around the property that connect with local trails as well. ATV's cannot be ridden on the property.

The home also features plenty of parking for vehicles and trailers in the driveway and a great deck off the main living space with expansive views as well as the expected amenities from a luxury home like washer/dryer, WIFI and all TVs are streaming capable (no Cable TV).

This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).

This home can also be rented with additional space by adding the guest house to your booking. Please note, that the guest house may be booked separately.

Amazing Mountain Retreat

This property is excellent and was an amazing venue for our family vacation. Easy access to Durango and the surrounding area. The property is gorgeous and you really can't beat the outdoor space for both relaxing and socializing with friends and family. The house was spacious and well stocked. A perfect mountain vacation home!

Beautiful house and location

It is in a great quiet location with all the amenities you need for your stay. The outside areas and views were beautiful and all the inside areas are nice. We had one issue during our stay and it was taken care of within hours. All ages in our group had an amazing time at this house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful property, the location was a bit of a challenge as it's quite far up a gravel road that was getting somewhat rutted out. The master bedroom was amazing and the 1 other queen bed was nice, but the rest of the sleeping arrangements weren't exactly as expected and 1 friend ended up on the couch. This would be suited for 1 couple in the master, the queen bed would be ok if a second couple is good with tight quarters, but the other beds are really only good for kids who don't care and have healthy young backs. The kitchen was good, very functional, and it was so cool having deer and wild turkeys and other critters come visit.
