I had a nice stay. Clean and comfortable room. Continental breakfast could be improved on to include fresly cut fruit, cold meats and more variety of yoghurts (for those who do not eat carbohydrates- bread and cereals). Lowrie at the reception desk was excellent! Very helpful and courteous. She sorted out my late check out request as I couldn't do it online.

Surprisingly good budget hotel. Great location, clean, friendly staff. My only complaint is that the room initially smelt a bit of dog, this is a dog friendly hotel and it was 30c, I guess the heat made it difficult to air. Despite this the room was very clean. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Durham.

Lovely spacious clean rooms, love the added privacy of the family toom have a separate 'room' with the additional beds in, had some issues using the smart functions on the tv as it wouldnt connect meaning i couldn't stream but still had access to regular prohraming so not the end of the world, and the heatint/copling system very welcome and impressive was a little confusing for me so a how to for idiots like me would be handy!
