Room and bathroom were both clean. Sat in garden with a drink which was nice. Had gluten free breakfast they made me 2 poached eggs then i put bacon beans mushrooms and tomato with it.they also made me 2 gluten free toast and gave me 2 gluten free cereal pkts schar cornflakes and schar muesli.i also had pineapple and watermelon chunks with a bit yoghurt. So got well fed which is a change when you need a gluten free breakfast. Most places you wont get cereal or toast.also have choice of coffees out of machine and fresh juices.

Good location for a city break

We enjoyed our stay, unfortunately the lift was out of order which was inconvenient but otherwise the hotel offered all we needed. Overall the hotel was very ckean, however the room was rather dusty. Staff all friendly and a great location for visitibg Durham.
