The lobby is a large bar area, I arrived just after 4pm, I stood at the check in counter (at the end of the bar) for 5 minutes while they served drinks to people only for them to say you have to do the check-in yourself. There were 2 employees and both prioritized the people drinking over acknowledging the person standing at the check in. I went to my room and then left to go out. Upon my return, I decided that I wanted a drink. I stood at the bar while the people at the bar prioritized the people checking in after waiting 5 minutes, I just left without being served and went to my room.The room was nice, quiet. The staff working when I arrived lowered my rating of the hotel. The breakfast was good in the morning.

Good overall stay. Funky hotel. Good staff and within 20 mins walk to karlsrad which is super fun on a Saturday night. Used laundry facilities, dryer was incredibly slow. Otherwise every thing else was great.

Excellent hotel in a great location with amazing staff who go above and beyond to make your staff comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Dusseldorf.

Good hotel overall

Good location, fun hotel. Bit of a hiccup at check-in when we’re told we’d been upgraded to a ‘wow’ room. Turned out it was a very dark disabled room in the ground floor which had a bathroom complete with toilet grab rails. Asked to go back to our original booked room in the ‘cosy’ category and got a really nice room on the 6th floor with huge windows. The vibe of the hotel is good and we liked the little touches like popcorn and a free drink for skipping room cleaning. Sound proofing isn’t great though and we were woken up by music in the night which went on for several hours so sleep quality wasn’t great.

Lovely hotel, very comforatable rooms. Good location, walking distance to bars and restaurants. Train service quite near. Breakfast is very nice but would like an option of some kind of evening food.
