The room was great except for the flies . And bathroom sink ran very slow from gunk in drain . The food was very good in restaurant. The view was great. Didnt really see any staff but was easy entry to room

Very nice, but please add a little counter next to the sink. There was no place to set out toiletries at sink area. Wonderful bed & bedding! Liked that it had a free standing shower and no tub. Dont forget to supply kleenex. Dinner was great. Would have liked to have breakfast available. Beautiful complex! Thank you!

Room was standard and simple, but clean, and the views were wonderful. Staff were very friendly. Plenty to do outside on the property: corn hole, fireplace, pier, sitting areas looking over the lake, hammocks. Will definitely stay again.

Nice resort. Grounds are nice. Room was somewhat small. Bathroom crazy small. Shower so small I had to step out to shave my legs. No housekeeping. That's part of what I enjoy when I stay at a hotel. Thought we would have s better view of the water. All in all we enjoyed ourselves.

We loved the welcome we received upon checking in. In addition, we liked the property enough to ask if they would have a room available for the next night, too. Though it was Cranberry Festival days with huge numbers of people arriving, they had one room available for us. The setting is superb, with the Eagle River Chain of lakes the setting. Peaceful, natural location. Highly recommend.

The Chanticleer Inn had good communication with us, and gave us a code to get in right away when we arrived. The room was clean, and having the kitchen area was great. The lake view was beautiful.

When we arrived, there was no toilet paper nor bath soap in our unit. The office was not staffed that day, but luckily a handyman was working on another unit and he got us a supply of toilet paper. We had a bar of soap in our luggage that we used. Otherwise, the unit was clean and well equipped. As it was late September there were very few guests at the resort, so it was extremely quiet. It had been close to 20 years since we last stayed at the resort and the upgrades were very nice.

Liked the view of the lake from our room. Our room was likely a fifties motel room. It had two double beds in it with hardly room to turn around. They would have been better off with just one queen bed and more open space, but we managed.
