On the main level, you'll find a comfortably furnished living area with a large TV, while downstairs, there's a fun-filled family room with an additional TV lounge, full bar, game/puzzle table, and upright multicade arcade machine.
Outside, the fun really begins with a furnished patio, grassy yard, enclosed gazebo, swing set and playhouse, lakeside firepit, and a large dock for fishing, swimming, or heading out on the lake in the provided canoe. This home is also on an ATV/UTV trail, a snowmobile trail, and a hiking, biking, and skiing trail. Hi! Very nice property, amazing nature around. Unfortunately the basement was very cold, it was not possible to spend much time there! No windows in the basement bedrooms! Upstairs bathroom leaked. Kitchen pans are very old , some of them not possible to use because of deformation and dirt! Overall we like this house! Unfortunately my husband forgot his Sketchers in the laundry room, someone cover it with sheets! Please call me to arrange a shipping back to us at 224-545-1373
The house and grounds were well suited for our large family get together. There were plenty of towels and room to move. The location on the lake was great for coming and going on the chain while quiet enough to sit and enjoy the water. The kids had a great time fishing from the dock, boating and roasting s'mores over the fire. The adults enjoyed coffee while deer watching on the large decks. The only issues we had was trying to enter the home on arrival. The key pad did not work and the dead bolt just spun. The code for the door was a 10 digit number which would be impossible to memorize. The management company gave us the code to open a small lock box with a key to the door. The only other issue was the listing talks about the fire pit yet you must purchase your own wood. There are no listings for where other than to be told to purchase 10 bundles from local sellers.
While the main living space is a little dark, there are so many other places on this property to hang out and enjoy the scenery and each other. We particularly loved the fire pit. The kitchen is a little small and it definitely needed more hand towels and washrags, but we had plenty of room for everyone. And everyone had a space to escape if they needed. We explored the areas around Eagle River and had great food.
The carpeting in the basement was ripped up in the two bedrooms. Both bedrooms had bare concrete floors with exposed carpet tack strips (exposed staples). I notified Vacasa Saturday and nobody knew why. It took 2 days before someone informed me why the carpet was ripped up. I should have been informed before I checked in.
There were garbage bags sitting on top of the dumpster that some animal ripped open creating a mess. I notified Vacasa on Saturday of the mess but nobody showed up. I cleaned the mess myself Thursday.
On Saturday I notified Vacasa that the ceiling fan in the master bedroom didnât work. The response I got was âweâll work on itâ but nobody showed up to fix it.
We had a wonderful time in this house! Plenty of beds (all comfortable!). The lake access/deck was perfect, however, the water is shallow in the channel and makes it tricky to park your inboard motor boat. Luckily we figured it out! We were missing ALL THE TOWELS when we arrived and had an issue with a shower handle, but the Vacassa Company responded quickly to resolve the issues. We love Eagle River and all it's glory! Be sure to grab a drink at Marina Bar, a bite to eat at Braywood, pizza at Pirate's Cove and an old fashion at Sweetwat4ers.
Beautiful property and location. Loved the ability to have our dog with us. Enjoyed the campfire and fishing off the dock. Very spacious for our large group needs.
We rented this place with our siblings for my twin sister and myâs 62nd birthday. We enjoyed our stay very much. Beautiful and well equipped place. We docked our pontoon and the dock had great bumpers. We enjoyed the fire pit. There was plenty of wood. Watched the Packer game, grilled pizzas on the nice big grill. And just hung out. And enjoyed our stay. We all loved this rental and would rent again.
