It was a great place to stay and feel right at home. We had snow and they even came and did a great job plowing. Enjoyed and would highly recommend. Thank you so much for sharing your home.
Overall disappointed with our stay.Communication was poor with the host. We had emailed them five days prior to our stay to see if we could reschedule due to dangerously bitter cold temps setting in. Three days later, we received a response stating our cancellation deadline was over thus they would not offer any type of refund, but did not address if we could reschedule for a different date due to the weather. Also, we had inquired on using the garage due to temps falling below -30. Host never did respond to that question.Dishes in cupboard were filthy. When using the dishwasher, water was leaking out onto kitchen floor.Overall, the temperature in the house was not maintained at a comfortable level. We were very uncomfortable sitting in the living room upstairs and weâre not able to turn the furnace high enough to be warm. With two of the bedrooms, located in the lower level, some of the guests used the bedroom downstairs. But we were not able to get the temperature above 55, which of course was very uncomfortable, especially given the extreme cold.We did let the host know about the temperature in the house, but never heard back. Carpeting needed replacing-very dirty and worn in places. The home did have lovely views!Driveway was well cleared when we arrived. Overall, the house was neat/organized. Unfortunately, due to bitter cold temps, the house not being able to maintain comfortable temps and poor communication with the host, we would not recommend.
Had issue with TV and dryer did not get hot. Texted with customer service and was told someone local would reach but never heard from anyone. Customer service may have been an AI bot. House was great!
This is truly a beautiful property. Checking in and out was easy. It was very clean. The view of the lake was incredible. Its right across from the boat landing, which was great because we brought our pontoon boat. The hill is steep. To walk down, wasn't so bad, but up can take your breath away. The owners did show up unannounced on the 4th to access their boat, which was a bit unnerving and not appreciated. I wouldn't have cared if we had a heads up. The downstairs was very cold and none of the windows opened to help regulate the temperature for comfort. The kids had fun playing on the fuse ball table. The pillows were thin and uncomfortable. I wish we would of brought our own pillows. The neighbors were awesome with lighting off fireworks, it made our trip. The dryer stopped working, which was unfortunate with all the wet towels and clothes. I wish there was a place to hang wet clothes as the balcony was full of pollen. Overall we had a nice stay.
The property was amazing and extremely clean. Great location on the lake. They must enforce a "no wake" requirement, because the surface reflected like a mirror during our entire stay. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
we have is that VRBO would have
Stayed weekend with friends/ coworkers who are retired to relax and go to Eagle River cranberry fest. The home is beautiful and was well supplied. We were a group of 6 and enjoyed everything about the stay. Hope to visit again soon.
The property is nice, however the yard is not gently sloping as described. It is steep and you need to be in good shape to get back up the hill. The dock is very narrow and pontoon placement blocks view if you choose to sit on the dock. There is a fair amount of boat traffic as the property is directly across from a boat landing. Beds were comfortable and home layout is nice. We had a cleaniness issue in one bathroom, but the property manager addressed it right away.
Overall an okay property.
