THE SPACE

Sun Down occupies the entire first-floor apartment, giving your group its own bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen and living spaces.

• Living room: 2 sofa beds

The additional sleeping options give groups flexibility in choosing their preferred sleeping arrangements.

Bedroom 3 can also work well as a quiet workspace when the additional bed isn't needed.

KITCHEN & LIVING AREAS

The full kitchen makes Sun Down especially convenient for longer stays, families and groups who prefer the option to prepare meals at home.

Relax together in the living room, enjoy meals in the dining area, or use the dedicated desks when you need to work or study during your stay.

POOL

Guests have access to the property's seasonal outdoor pool.

Please note:

• The pool is shared with guests staying in Sun Up, the separate upstairs apartment.
• The pool is not heated.
• Pool hours, when open, are 6:00 AM–11:00 PM.
• The pool is seasonal and availability depends on the time of year.

GUEST ACCESS

Your reservation includes the entire Sun Down first-floor apartment.

Your bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, dining area and living room are exclusively for your group.

Sun Up is a separate apartment located upstairs and may be occupied by other guests during your stay.

The following areas may be shared:

• Main entry hallway
• Driveway
• Seasonal outdoor pool

The second-floor apartment, basement, gym and cinema room are not included with a Sun Down reservation.

PARKING

Driveway parking is available for up to 2 vehicles.

Please plan accordingly, as additional on-site parking is not available.

Sun Down offers convenient access to many New Haven destinations, including:

The location is especially convenient for travelers flying through Tweed and for guests visiting Yale or the New Haven area.

IMPORTANT: AIRPORT NOISE

Tweed New Haven Airport is very close to the property.

Aircraft pass nearby, and airplane noise can be loud at certain times of the day. We want guests to know this before booking so there are no surprises.

If you are particularly sensitive to aircraft or city noise, this property may not be the best fit for your stay.

Because Sun Up is located above the apartment, you may also occasionally hear normal residential sounds from guests staying upstairs.

GOOD TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING

• Check-in begins at 4:00 PM.
• Check-out is by 10:00 AM.
• Maximum occupancy is 6 guests.
• Sun Down is the first-floor apartment of a two-family home, not the entire building.
• The seasonal pool is shared with Sun Up and is not heated.
• There is no grill at the property.
• There is no washer or dryer inside the apartment. A laundromat is approximately a 4-minute drive away.
• Parking is limited to 2 vehicles.
• Starter supplies are provided upon arrival and are not replenished throughout the stay.
