Welcome to the Captain's Quarters Resort, located on the serene Illinois River. This unique home offers a beautiful view of the river and has its own special style that is almost like stepping back in time. Embrace the outdoors with a range of complimentary amenities, including the soothing hot tub, fun lawn games, paddleboards, canoe, double kayak, and four catfish poles for fishing enthusiasts. The private dock and firepit invites you to create lasting memories with family and friends while admiring the picturesque views of the Illinois river.

Inside, the delights continue with a plethora of indoor amenities. Challenge your friends and family to a friendly game of pool or unwind in the steam sauna for the ultimate relaxation after a day of river adventures. The bar room comes equipped with an ice machine, a Jimmy Buffet Margaritaville concoction maker, a popcorn machine, dartboard, and the Buck Hunter arcade game for endless entertainment. The living room's sunk-in conversation pit is the perfect spot to gather around with friends and family to unwind with a movie and some popcorn while enjoying the great view of the Illinois River Valley.

Whether it's a family dinner, a dinner with friends, or a quite meal for two, the home offers an indoor and outdoor cooking and dinning experience. We Absolutely LOVE this place!! So much to do at the house for Everyone that there was no need to leave it. We had our kids who are in their late 20s and our 1 year old granddaughter there. They all had a Great time! Fishing, hitting golfballs, playing games, hot tub, sauna... never a dull moment. My husband and I got to relax and enjoy a fun weekend with our family. We will be back!!!

Great location, wonderful view, and much to enjoy at the home.

We loved our stay. The view was wonderful! We enjoyed the sunset every evening. There was a pool table, many games, sauna, and much to enjoy at the home.

Great house right on the water with so many amenities to keep everyone entertained! Kitchen was well stocked with appliances, utensils, coffee pots, spices, etc. Very clean & updated & host communicated very well. Smooth & easy check in & out. Would highly recommend & would return!

House was very clean. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Owner was super responsive to questions. He definitely has a flair hospitality. Property has beautiful riverfront views.

Amazing Anniversary Weekend

Rented for our 7th Anniversary, and could not have been happier. Unique property with tons of amenities, fun things to do, amazing view, and impeccably clean. Host was great with communication.

Captain Quarters

Our group came to town for a baseball tournament and stayed here to relax. This was an amazing house with lots of activities inside and outside. The host was very tentative to details and very responsive.

This is easily in my top three of all-time nicest places I have rented. I wish our project had been two weeks long! What a great house! Spectacular sunsets every night! A firepit, kayaks, hot tub, and a very spacious home! I can't say enough about how much we all enjoyed this place!

We enjoyed the beautiful views from the beautiful home. Stay was fantastic. High end and thoughtful touches from the owner. Shampoo, hand soaps , coffee, night crawlers , popcorn. We will be coming back again and again.

Home away from home. Highly recommend.

What can I say. Would definitely stay again. This was an amazing place to stay. Everything you need is here. Owners provided thoughtful touches throughout and setup for arrival. Beautiful views and outdoor space to hang out. I don’t believe we even turned on the tv. Only concern I would mention is if you have littles or pets, bring a free standing safety gate for the spiral stairs.

Such an amazing property!

We absolutely loved this property. Alex was so easy to work with and very prompt with his replies. He had everything (and more) that we needed down to small details like coffee for the Keurig, firewood for the firepit and fireplace, and all the tools and supplies for the grill, Blackstone and smoker. I've been to places that have similar amenities but usually have to end up bringing or buying some things that we need. Not here - it was all provided! Also he was very accommodating and we were able to check in earlier to help us unload before we headed out that first day. The property was so quiet and peaceful. When we were there we spent a lot of time just sitting on the patio looking over the river and enjoying the outdoors. Inside there was no shortage of things to do as well. Would hands down stay here again without hesitation. Such a wonderful place!
