Absolute joke.
Half of the things in the apartment were broken: drawers , the toilet , all the doors slammed no matter what to close making so much noise at late times , none of the locks worked properly and to top it all off , the sink was broken on the first day we got there and I got billed for it!?! Will definitely be taking that higher as not right being billed £200 for someone’s else’s issue that was already broken , absolute rip off merchant I wouldn’t suggest any accommodation with this man he’s a scammer

Stay & Booking Platform Experience
The accommodation was fine and it's location served well with easy access to the motorways to permit exploration of the south coast. The vrbo platform experience however was a different matter. I had booked the accommodation on the 16th Feb 2022 with a cancellation option in case circumstances changed. As our holiday itinerary this year involved multiple stays in various locations, other booking platforms were used for the other locations with the same cancellation option. I in my error, managed to book 2 accommodations in the same area for the same dates. However, with the other booking platforms, I had received regular correspondences about the trips to keep their bookings in the forefront of my mind. Crucially that correspondence included a reminder about the cancellation dates about to expire so I could finalise my plans. However I had no correspondence from VRBO from the booking date (16th Feb) until I was contacted by the property owner just 2 days before the VRBO stay on the 4th July. This was much too late to cancel either of my 2 accommodations As a result I lost the full cost of the overlapping property that I couldn't stay at. I contacted VRBO via email address on the 17th July but to date I've heard nothing back. Ultimately it's my own fault as I booked 2 accommodations for the same date range. However if I had booked this with other well online booking platforms, my mistake would have been realised, and 1 of the sites would have been cancelled. This experience has left me scarred and I'm unlikely to use VRBO again.
