Hi Great apartment! Very calm with a view on a garden and sun in the morning! Well heated, clean and neat.Nice location, nearby a Tesco and lidl for groceries, some nice restaurants too (pub o connor, a pizzeria etc). Bus stop nearby and easy to walk to downtown. We really enjoyed!I may just say that the waterpressure was not that good in the shower and difficult to keep warm (it was too hot or too cold)
This apartment is in a great location. Although a bit away from the New Town and Old Town, the area still has a lot to offer. The Royal Botanic Gardens are beautiful and thereâs walking trails nearby. Itâs also across the street from both a Lidl and Tesco, so very convenient for groceries! I also highly recommend checking out Hata down the street for their porridge and overnight oats.
Overall it was a great stay. My main complaint is it couldâve been cleaned better. When getting to the plug behind the couch I noticed lotâs of dust and some plastic garbage left behind it that I ended cleaning up. I also found cobwebs on the ceilings/walls and 10 spiders on the ceilings. Once I vacuumed everything up I no longer found anymore spiders, which makes me believe the cleaners just did a very poor job.
Also! I wouldnât book this place if youâre planning to do a good amount of cooking. The kitchen is small and the counter space is very limited.
Spot on for location to central Edinburgh. Accomodation is pretty basic but did exactly what we wanted. If you want luxury, this isnât for you. Also had a relative offer to drive us to Edinburgh at the last minute and with the sofa bed we were able to offer him an overnight stay for an extra ÂŁ15.
