•We pride ourself on positive ratings and don't want to jeopardize that with there being any issues with our guests. We ask that you please read the whole listing before inquiring to book, so there are no suprises or disappointments. Please let me know if you have any questions. :)

•When you request to book we will be reaching out to you almost immediately to make sure everything was read and that you don't have any questions and to finish the booking process.
We ask that you please make sure your email and phone number are correct on your account to receive notifications. If we do not receive a response from you in the time VRBO allots we will be forced to retract your reservation and you will not be able to rebook.

•We require a picture of your Government ID to be supplied to us within 24 hours of confirmed reservation due to our home owners insurance. The copy of your ID is only kept for the duration of your stay then deleted.

•This is our vacation home we rent out to help pay the taxes and insurance, it doesn't have the lastest furniture or the most modern decor but it's a great home for the value and price especially since it's so close to the beach.





••••••ABOUT THE PROPERTY••••••

The secret is being discovered, and Edisto Beach has become known as a coastal island destination, a state of mind, anytime…any season. Edisto is one of South Carolina’s largest barrier islands, located approximately 45 miles south of Charleston and east of Walterboro. Historic Highway 174 stretches across the island through moss-hung ancient oaks, unspoiled marshes, and rich agricultural land.


•The house is located right off of Highway 174 near the Enterprise Bank. It's convenient to most all the local attractions, but out of the way of the hustle and bustle.

•We have a very large front deck with patio furniture, ready for relaxing! The house is located on about an acre lot.

•Only takes about a 5 minute drive to reach the nearest beach access by the state park.

•Right at 1000sqft home with an open floor plan and 3 bedrooms. The kitchen, livingroom and dining room are open and have plenty of room to relax.

•The living room has a 75” smart TV with premium cable. Also, high speed free WiFi is available and a DVD player. The bedrooms do not have Tv's.

•The living room has a pull out sofa that is full size with memory foam added for extra comfort.

•Each of the three bedrooms are spacious with comfortable full size beds with memory foam toppers. Each bed has a comforter/quilt and pillows. Blankets are available and also extra pillows.

•Kitchen is equipped with full size fridge, microwave, oven, toaster oven, blender, toaster, pots & pans, utensils and all the cooking utensils you’ll need (no cooking condiments provided)

•Washer and dryer are available for guest use.

•We do our best to provide laundry detergent, hand soap and dish washer liquid, but we cannot guarantee it because sometimes, since we live out of state, it is used up before we have time to order more.

**LINEN/TOWEL INFORMATION**

•As with most all short term rental homes on Edisto you must bring your own toiletries and food. Including soap, paper towels, toliet paper, bath towels, wash cloths and linens, etc.

•If you would not like to bring hand towels, wash cloths, bath towels and sheets, Edisto Essentials is a local business that offers a linen package for reasonable fee (Not included in the reservation cost)

•As much as we would like to provide all the linens to our guest, it is too expensive and time consuming for our house keeper to clean them every time, that's why we have discounted rates for rental and also have the linen package option.




---------GUEST ACCESS--------

•Guest have access to the entire house and large yard. Only the storage room under the house is locked.. If you are planning to bring your boat, there is PLENTY of parking space.

•If you have any questions feel free to contact us with the phone number provided. Text is easier for communication if at all possible. We live in Nashville, Tennessee, but if you need something or have a question we will do our best to accommodate you!

-----IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE-----

•Please keep in mind that South Carolina has it's fair share of insects and other creatures. It's not uncommon for a Palmetto bug (looks similar to a roach) to get into the homes on the island. We can almost guarantee this to happen during your stay. Also, small Anole lizards try and get in the houses, even the occasional squirrel!

•This house has well water, so if you smell a slight sulfur smell it is completely normal and completely safe. However, if you don't like the smell you can get free water at the Edisto fire department or purchase bottled water at the local grocery store.

•This is a strict pet free home including service animals due to severe asthma. We have severe allergies and asthma and are very allergic to animals. If you are caught sneaking in an animal you will be made to vacate the premises while forfeiting the remainder of your stay and will not be refunded. You will also be responsible for any damages, including but not limited to carpet cleaning and upholstery. We love animals but this poses a serious health risk to us that is why we cannot allow any type of animal in our home.

•The house does not have central heat and air. It has newly replaced window air conditioners and propane gas wall heaters. Also it has portable electric heaters for bedrooms if supplemental heat is desired. The propane heat does a great job though for the entire house.

•There is video surveillance outside of the house.
•Must be 25 to book unless prior permission given.

•No local bookings unless permission is given beforehand.
