The cottage is on the 1st floor of our house.
With its 90m2, this accommodation offers:
‱ A bedroom with a bed of 1.60m x 2m (2 mattresses with electrically liftable head and feet), a dressing room (wardrobe, shelves and chest of drawers), a relaxation area (2 armchairs and a small table)
‱ A bathroom with shower, toilet, heated towel rail, hair dryer.
‱ A large living room with a fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, dolce gusto, Alsatian service, steam cooker...)
‱ Two salons. One of them has a sofa bed (allowing the sleeping of two additional people on request). The second is equipped with a tv, DVD player and a children's corner.
For your comfort, you will find the bed made on arrival. The bathroom and kitchen linen is provided as well. On request it is possible to benefit from a washing machine.

Outside, you can enjoy a relaxing space in a small Japanese garden specially equipped with coffee table and armchairs.

"Eguisheim is one of the most beautiful and typical villages of Alsace with its half-timbered houses, its city tour along the ramparts and the Castle of the Counts on the central square. The town is surrounded by hills covered with vineyards and is overlooked by the Trois-ChĂąteaux who watch over it. " (Alsace Passion).

Hervorragender Urlaubsgenuß

Die Wohnung im Obergeschoß hat uns sehr gefallen, Groß, gerĂ€umig, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man auch zu Hause benötigt. Sehr geschmackvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet Wir wurden sehr freundlich von den Gastgebern empfangen, eine kleine Einweisung bei der Ankunft machte keine weiteren Fragen notwendig. Die Lage ist in der Region und im Dorf optimal. Das Zentrum ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar, dennoch befindet man sich in einer sehr ruhigen Ortsrandlage. Unsere mitgebrachten eBikes durften wir in der Garage des Hauses unterstellen, es wurde eine Lademöglichkeit der Akkus angeboten. Insgesamt war der Urlaub rundum gelungen, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefĂŒhlt und können dieses Haus auf jeden Fall nur weiterempfehlen. Nochmals ein herzliches Dankeschön - auch fĂŒr den Gugglhupf und die Flasche CrĂ©mant zum Empfang - an Christine und Thierry!

Ein guter Ausgangspunkt um Eguisheim und die anderen schönen Orte zu entdecken

Wir wurden sehr freundlich von unseren Gastgebern empfangen und es gab zur Einstimmung zwei typische ElsĂ€sser SpezialitĂ€ten. Den ĂŒberdachten Gartenplatz konnten wir wegen des Wetters nicht oft auskosten, das war natĂŒrlich schade. Die Wohnung ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt.

An EXCELLENT base for touring the Route des vins d'Alsace

This was our sixth visit to Alsace over the past 25 years. This meant we had a clear idea of which villages were appealing to stay in, both in terms of their location and their beauty. Additionally, we had quite a list of things that the property MUST have - e.g. a useable kitchen in case Covid policies limited access to restaurants and air conditioning in case it was as hot as when we visited Alsace in August of 2016 and temperatures hit 95F/35C or more all week. Christine and Thierry's property was EXACTLY what we were hoping for! Their location on the outskirts of Eguisheim is perfect! It is an easy five minute walk into the old village (have dinner at La Pavillon Gourmand - amazing!). Additionally, within 3 or 4 minutes, you are out of the village and driving on the Route des Vins. Additionally, you are only fifteen minutes from the Gare (train station) in Colmar. But at night, the village is VERY quiet (except at midnight on Bastille Day when the next village set off fireworks, but we'll let them celebrate!). They keep the property exquisitely clean and it is well-decorated and furnished. Our bed was VERY comfortable (very important as we both have backs that sometimes don't respond well to beds that are too hard or too soft). My wife, in particular, loved that the beds can be adjusted to raise your head if you are reading. We were VERY happy with our stay with Christine and Thierry and their hospitality. I truly cannot think of anything that needs to be improved. Merci!

Heerlijk uit in de Elzas

Een zeer ruim en net appartement. Alles is voorzien. De tocht naar het dorpje is zeker te doen met kleinere kinderen. We werden goed ontvangen en hebben genoten van de dorpjes en parken in de buurt.

The accommodation is excellent and Christine is a delightful hostess. The accommodation has everything that you require and has lots of little extras that just make your holiday. This is a great area for walking and cycling with lovely restaurants in the village of Eguisheim

Wonderful, spacious place to stay.

We really loved the place with its full kitchen, large living room, great bedroom and, for European standards, big bathroom. Christine, the host, represents the Alsace friendly hospitality exceptionally well and I would not hesitate to stay there again. We already recommended the flat to family members. The property is 5 walking minutes away from the center of the fascinating medieval town of Equisheim in a very quiet neighborhood with easy, free parking. This flat is the best place we have ever found on homeaway. Thank you Christine, Thierry and Camille Christine and Roland
