You will spend your holiday in Maurset, the gateway to Hardangervidda. In summer, the area offers fantastic opportunities for hiking and fishing in mountain lakes with good trout stocks in Hardangervidda National Park. Excursions to Dyranut and Kjeldebu in beautiful natural surroundings are suitable for the whole family. Hardangerjøkulen is also a popular hiking destination between Eidfjord and Ulvik. Just a short drive from the cabin is the spectacular Vøringsfossen waterfall, which is a beautiful sight to behold. In winter, you can enjoy your days at the Syssendalen ski centre and on the groomed cross-country ski trails near the cabin.
