3-room maisonette: Child-friendly vacation apartment in a prime location in Eisenach

Welcome to this fascinating historic three-story house, once the proud property of the church administration, which today reveals its impressive past. Immerse yourself in history up close, surrounded by the historic city wall and the Wingolf Monument, which frame our property. Our charming, family-friendly vacation rental is located in the heart of Eisenach yet still offers a peaceful oasis of relaxation for up to 9 guests + 2 infants. The stylish furnishings, modern bathroom, guest restroom, and fully equipped kitchen leave nothing to be desired and create a cozy home away from home.

As you enter, the stairwell will enchant you with its ornate stained-glass windows and elegant wooden frames, while the charming tower room, which is part of the apartment, will whisk you away on a journey to times gone by.

This spacious apartment spans two floors on the second level of the building and, with more than 100 m², creates a unique atmosphere where the past and present blend in harmonious unity. On the first floor, you’ll find a lovingly designed bedroom (14 m², sleeps up to 3 people, with a king-size bed and a guest mattress available upon request), a cozy children’s room (10 m², sleeps up to 2 people, with two mattresses on the floor, no bed frames), a stylish bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a spacious central entryway that can also be used as a living room.

An elegant staircase connects the entryway to the second floor. The entire apartment is at your disposal and that of your travel companions, without any disturbances from others. The safety of our young guests is particularly important to us, which is why the staircase is equipped with a child safety gate on the third step, as shown in the attached photos. An additional child safety gate protects access to the tower room and restricts children’s access to the stairwell.

The second floor impresses with its unique tower room (32 m², for up to 4 people, with a queen-size bed and a sofa bed for two), which exudes irresistible charm thanks to its distinctive architecture. Here, you can fully enjoy moments of peace and relaxation. In addition, this floor features a multipurpose room that can be used as a guest restroom, as well as a practical storage room, which is not accessible to guests. The apartment includes a travel crib and a rocking chair, which can provide free sleeping accommodations for two children (up to 3 years old).

Although the apartment does not have a balcony or garden, there is a green space right outside the front door. If you’d like to enjoy breakfast outdoors, you can walk just 50 meters to the colorful cafés at the market, or prepare a picnic, walk 300 meters, and enjoy it in the forest or at Wartburg Castle. The Wingolf Monument right outside the front door also offers a spot to have breakfast, have a barbecue, or enjoy a glass of wine in the evening.

Unfortunately, this apartment is not wheelchair accessible.

We prioritize family- and child-friendliness. This means:
Out of consideration for other guests, pets and other animals are not permitted in our accommodation.
The entire apartment is a “no-smoking zone.” We also do not have a balcony or similar area for smoking. Smokers are therefore asked to smoke outside the front door.
Shoes must be removed before entering the apartment.
We offer 24/7 check-in.

Being child-friendly means we provide: a changing table, stair gate, high chair, washing machine, a travel crib upon request, and a Beurer baby food and bottle warmer upon request.
