Private, Pet-Friendly Guest Suite in York Maine

Relax and enjoy a serene vacation in a beautiful guest suite just 8 miles from the ocean! We are located on 6.5 quiet wooded acres, yet nearby to local attractions. Just a 15-20 minute drive to shops, restaurants & beaches of York, Kittery, & Portsmouth. Enter through a private entrance to our garden-view studio with contactless check in. We are pet friendly. Hosts are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and taking all appropriate precautions with cleaning between stays including washing all linens/rugs and cleaning with products that are effective against coronavirus.

Our suite has a new heat and air conditioning unit installed September 2021, as well as radiant heating in the floors. Enjoy the outdoor space as well on a brand new patio added summer 2022.

Please note this unit has a “hotel kitchen” only which includes microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee maker with K cups, sweetener and milk/cream/non-dairy creamer options, and mini fridge. Use of our reach-in freezer in the adjoining room can be arranged with advanced notice.

Please also note in the pictures the small incline one must walk on to travel from the parking space to the suite entrance. We are finishing a road through our woods that will allow the suite to be more accessible to all.

VRBO requires that we disclose that we have security cameras on out property. The cameras face the driveway, barn, front and back of our house. There are no cameras inside the house!

Everything was as advertised except the cigarette smell. We were looking for nothing more than a bed and a shower and this place fit the bill.

Wonderful little taste of Maine!
This was the perfect spot for us just outside of York. Everything we needed was on site and our host even dropped off extra supplies given our extended stay. Would return in a heartbeat!

Perfect!
Our stay was only for one night as we used it as a bridge stay between longer stays in Plymouth, MA and Boothbay Harbor. We were very pleased with the accommodations! It had everything we needed and then some. The bed was super comfy. We really appreciated the various coffee creamers (half and half, oat milk, etc) left for us in the fridge. The hosts bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant and were great communicators. If we’re ever in need of a place to stay in this area again, we won’t hesitate to book this!

Great stay with our pup!
This property is the best place to stay near Portsmouth NH with a dog. It was conveniently close to Portsmouth NH downtown as well as Maine shops. The property owner was very quick to respond to messages and the place was neat and tidy. There is a Keurig , a mini fridge, and cups/plates if you want to bring some snacks or breakfast items, which we did not use but very convenient. Thank you for such a great stay. We will be back!
