Go for a walk in one of the local parks, many of which sport their own views of Lake Michigan. Make your own field trip and take a tour together at an art museum before frequenting a restaurant along the water. While exploring the area, take your pick from the distillery, brewery, or winery that is close by for a refreshing drink and to discuss where you'll go next.

Back at your little paradise, your own adventures await. The beach and lake are mere steps away from your back door, meaning you can feel the sand between your toes anytime you choose. Go for a dip in the lake and dry off in front of the fireplace in the living room. The full kitchen's open space encourages group projects, whether they be snacks or meals. Throw something on the grill to complement the food and eat your meal inside or make a picnic on the beach and take in the crisp Michigan air as you indulge. Gather around the firepit together as the evening goes on before going back to the house to comfortably settle in for the night.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
