Fun stay at the cabin. We particularly enjoyed the paddle boards, swimming, and fishing in the lake. One night we roasted marshmallow and hotdogs by the fire. We grilled out. We enjoyed the hot tub. It was great place to get away with the family. Don’t forget to bring your own towels for the water activities outside AND you might want your own pillows too.

Beautiful and Tranquil

Loved our little cabin. The view overlooking the lake was one of my favorites. This place was so quiet and a nice escape from reality. We took the kayak and canoe out and it was wonderful. The lake was so peaceful and your are surrounded by the beauty of nature. The only thing I would change was the driveway, it is very steep. We were thankful we had four-wheel drive, but that would not stop us from staying again.

Beautiful Lakefront Cabin

We had never been to Ellijay or Blue Ridge. This cabin is right in the middle of both areas and so convenient. We loved the lake view and little dock. Sat out and watched the sunset. The cabin deck is wonderful too. We loved exploring Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Found lots of antique shops, pet shops were really nice and lots of places to eat.

Fun Stay on a Lake

We had a great time at the house on the lake. The canoe and kayak were fun and the house is in a great location between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The only issue is that they don't provide extra toilet paper roles even though we were there for 5 days but they do let you know ahead of time.

Lovely cabin with lake view

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin with excellent scenic views of the lake! The cabin was clean, comfortable and nicely equipped with all the essentials. Close to both Blue Ridge and Ellijay, we had plenty to do for entertainment. We will be back!

Best bang for your buck

We loved our stay here. Literally everything you could ask for. Property is close enough to blue ridge and ellijay but the cabin has everything you need if you want to stay in. The view was stunning and the property was private but not completely isolated. I would absolutely stay here again.

Nice property. Could use a cobweb sweep on the cabin balconies. The hot tub water smells awful, the roof pops a lot. Also the turn at Buckhorn that takes you directly to the cabin is very sharp and extremely narrow so be careful. Otherwise it’s very quiet, peaceful and serene.

During our vacation we traveled to the highest mountain in ga, seen water falls, seen good friends, visit family, went down town in Ellijay, went on a train, visit copper hill, candle company, and so much more. Busy 5 days but we enjoyed our time up there.

Perfect Summer Escape

Lakeside Hideaway was the perfect escape from the heat of Florida for a couple of weeks. The cabin is exactly as shown in the pictures and descriptions. The location was perfect. Easy drive to both Blue Ridge and Ellijay. There was plenty of activities in the area to keep us entertained. The kitchen is well stocked, and the cabin was very clean. The only issues that we had were trash related. The owners should consider building an area for the trash cans that can be enclosed so the raccoons can’t get into it. Additionally, there should be free trash pickup for guests staying more than a week. The lake is a perfect bonus. Both of the paddle board were missing fins which pretty much eliminated teaching a beginner.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We utilized the fire pit, hammock, canoe, grill, and fishing opportunities. Very pleased with everything and would highly recommend. Would definitely stay here again. Very convenient to Ellijay and Blue Ridge.
