Very spacious place for you and the family to bond. The amenities are a plus; fishing, putt putt, indoor heated pool that goes to 8ft deep, and much more.
The Mountain Viewâs on the property are the best around. Sunsets right in front of the deck and you see a sunset almost every night. The river down below would be visible in the winter. Otherwise the view is beautiful with the woods and distant mountain ranges. There is a gravel road just less than a mile up that leads down to the river if you decide you want to hike to the river.
Roaches in the kitchen and bathroom. There were roach fly papers (sticky paper) in the kitchen cabinets. Maybe hiring pest control would have been better!! Refrigerator was dirty. Washing machine smelled like mildew. Curtain rod at kitchen window fell down. There was paper in the hole where the screw was, meaning someone had tried to screw it in unsuccessfully. Molding on living room floor was undone and people kept tripping over it. Trash receptacle next to the house smelled awful. Everytime we opened the front door the scent wafted into the house. We turned off the overhead light in the bedroom closest to the front door and it wouldn't come back on again. The lights in the living room also went very, very dim. Needed new bulbs in them. The bunk beds downstairs were not big enough for adults to sleep in, they were made for young children or teens. The couch downstairs that was going to be used for sleeping also was "miniature" sized. The guest had to sleep in the recliner. We felt like the pictures did not accurately portray what to expect. Very disappointed...
