OFFSHORE BLUE is a beautiful sound front home located in the private Marsh Cove neighborhood of Emerald Isle. OFFSHORE BLUE offers spectacular views of Bogue Sound with its waterfront location ready for paddle boarding, kayaking, and fishing. The home is situated at the end of a long driveway on a peninsula away from other homes, giving you a private oasis. Feel the ocean breezes from the expansive deck and enjoy the breathtaking views of water, marsh, and wildlife from the dock. A short 5 to 10 minute walk will lead you to the pristine beaches of the Crystal Coast, the boat ramp with nature trail, pier, and playground, and Chapel by the Sea. Bring your bikes and ride on the bike path that stretches the length of Emerald Isle. After a day at the beach by the emerald green waters, enjoy a fun competitive game on the new putting green, and then unwind with a front row seat on the NEW floating dock to view spectacular sunsets.

Our home is about 3 miles from Emerald Isle town center where you will find restaurants, shopping, a movie theater, mini golf, post office, and Bogue Inlet Pier. Swansboro, Morehead City, and Beaufort are all easy drives and are fun to explore. Hammocks Beach State Park and Fort Macon offer great activities for the whole family.

The interior features a modern take on classic coastal design. Numerous upgrades have been made to make your experience comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen is well stocked for the chef in your party. The up-to-date bathrooms feature nice finishes such as the soaking tub in the upstairs bathroom situated by a picture window. Enjoy the home sound system and listen to your favorite music indoors and outdoors. The home also has four large TVs and wifi. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, ensuite bathroom, and private balcony with outdoor seating to enjoy the sunrise. The second upstairs bedroom features a comfortable queen-sized bed and views of Bogue Sound. Two of the bedrooms are located on the main floor with one featuring a queen-sized bed and a Juliet balcony. The other main level bedroom has a full-sized bed.

Other amenities included: putting green with lights for night-time play, kayaks (3), paddle board (1), bikes (2), propane gas grill, beach chairs (6), Sea Striker beach/dock cart and Little Tikes wagon.

This was our second stay at this house and will come back again if available. Architecture and decor are fantastic, very crisp and clean. No clutter or gratuitous beachy stuff everywhere. The amenities are awesome. We used the bicycles, kayaks, putting green, grill and fished from the dock (caught some trout). Being on the sound is very quiet, no tracked in sand, no salt spray on everything and no people traipsing about. The view of the sound is fantastic and the bird watching is great. We love this place.

Cleaning service provider may have been in a rush. Microwave was really dirty, scuffs and wads of hair on the floor were easily wiped up or picked which speaks to how little effort was applied during the cleaning process. Also there were multiple windows that had spiderwebs with spiders so large it obstructed your view. My husband addressed that issue. This by no means takes away from the property itself which was lovely. I understand you’re relying on others for these services. We honored your home while it was in our possession and we’re looking forward to staying there again!

One of the sound's best!

Excellent location close to town. Just a few blocks to the ocean. Fantastic floating dock for kayaks and fishing on the sound. Gorgeous sunrise views from the primary bedroom. Many amenities add to your experience.

First trip to Emerald Isle

Our daughter was turning 13 and wanted to go the beach for her birthday. Our kids grew up in Florida and we relocated to South Carolina a few year’s ago. We try to get back to FL to visit family and go to the beach but it’s ridiculously expensive and so far to drive and we wanted to explore somewhere closer. We chose Emerald Isle and couldn’t have had a better experience. The property was very affordable and private and had breathtaking views. Teresa was more than accommodating and very prompt to answer any of our questions and to give recommendations as far as local things to do. We had an amazing day finding shells at Fort Macon, and visited NC aquarium which was surprisingly nice.The property was pristine and the listing pictures don’t even come close to doing it justice. We’re already planning a return trip..highly recommended!

Perfect spot for a family getaway!

We loved staying at Off Shore Blue! We had the best time fishing and crabbing off the dock, kayaking and playing many round of putt putt golf. This house truly has it all. We felt so at home as they had everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms and even a storage room full of stuff that you could use from a wagon, putters, fishing rods amd 2 bikes. We definitely can’t wait to come back!

Location, Location, Location

This home has the ultimate location!! It is conveniently located to everything you will need, and most amazingly, is its location on the water!! The views from the porches are spectacular!! Time stands still when you are sitting on the decks; the views of nature are pure serenity!! The house is great and communicating with Teresa is wonderful! She was available and very helpful!! Sensational Soundside!

What a find!! By far, the most perfect rental home our family has ever stayed in. We so very much enjoyed the peaceful, private location on the sound from the many decks with comfortable rocking and lounge chairs while listening to the surround sound music as if we were the only ones on the entire island. The comfortable open layout was also fantastic with every amenity we could ever need. On top of everything, the communication with the host was amazing and so very generous and accommodating. We will definitely be repeat guests!❀

Serenity with views without sand or salt spray

Great house. Great design, well maintained and tastefully decorated with a kitchen that you can cook in. Appliances and cookware were like new, no cabinets filled with junk. Amenities were all used and in great shape, putting green, kayaks, corn hole, pier and dock, etc. Views of the sound were fantastic. Variety of birds was amazing. Also saw deer, a fox, and some big rabbits. Careful if you want to dock a boat, there's only about a foot of water at low tide. We were OK with a skiff but a vee hull could be tricky. We fully intend to come back.

Outstanding vacation home

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay. The host is great. The house and property are outstanding. We would highly recommend this to folks interested in a sound-side vacation (also a short walk from the beach). The views from the house are breathtaking. The amenities, like the kayaks, paddle board, decks, dock, and outside shower are great. The sound, nearby islands, and marshy area between the house and dock are great for bird-watching, seeing a host of other wildlife, fishing, crabbing, etc. It is a very peaceful place (e.g., not on a busy road), but is close enough to easily bike to shops, etc. I wish that we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic Beach Vacation

We had a fantastic vacation staying at the Offshore Blue listing. Our week was packed with beach time, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, and even a family putting championship! Offshore Blue has many amenities and Teresa is a great host. When we checked into the property, my wife exclaimed that the online pictures did not due the house justice on how really nice it is. We would definitely stay here again for future vacations.

Paradise in Ocean Isle

Great Location - Private Dock to watch the sunsets - close to everything EI has to offer. Not to mention house had all the items a house should have but usually does not on VRBO - paper towels / salt/ pepper/ olive oil / dishwashing detergent / laundry detergent - i could go on. House was clean and spacious - porches - rocking chairs - lovely property.
