The town of Niebüll is about 12 kilometers away, and the nearest train station, Klanxbüll, is 6 kilometers away. From there, you can take the train across the Hindenburgdamm to the North Sea island of Sylt in about 20 minutes. You can reach the Danish border in about 20 minutes by car. You can explore the islands and Halligen of North Frisia from Dagebüll, where ferries depart for the islands of Föhr and Amrum.
