Wir hatten uns mehr erhofft

Es war schon ein besonderes Haus und der Ausblick war berauschend sowohl im Zimmer als auch auch im ganzen Hotel. Die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter war war sehr gut. Allerdings waren die deutschen Sprachkenntnisse unterrichtsbedürftig. Einige persönliche Wünsche bliebenoffen. Lange Wege wie vom Zimmer zum Pool sind unserer Ansicht nach zum Preis nicht gerechtfertigt. Das Kulturprogramm im Hotel wäre ausbaufähig. Lange Wartezeiten vor dem Frühstück und nicht angemessene Kleidung der Gäste waren auffallend.

Sehr schönes Resort inmitten einer malerischen Kulisse. Der beheizte infinity Pool ist einzigartig und das Personal ist durchweg sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel ist Hunde-freundlich. Die Preise sind teilweise astronomisch hoch (43 CHF für einen Caesar Salad im Restaurant der Lobby), das muss einem bewusst sein. Das Buffet Frühstück im Palace Hotel ist relativ klein und nichts besonderes im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels dieser Klasse. Man kann jedoch auch eine kleine, klassische Auswahl à la Carte bestellen, das Personal ist stets bemüht jeden Wunsch zu ermöglichen. Die Gäste sind sehr international und teilweise leider auch sehr rücksichtslos. Wir hatten insgesamt eine sehr schöne Zeit über Silvester/ Neujahr. Unser einziges wirkliches Manko war unser Silvester Dinner für 600 CHF pro Person, exklusive Getränke. Verglichen mit anderen internationalen Restaurants und Hotels hat das Essen nicht auf einem Niveau mitgespielt was den Preis hätte rechtfertigen können. Für mich hätte ein eigenes Menü kreiert werden sollen, aufgrund von Allergie/ Intoleranz. Dies wurde bei der Buchung besprochen. Leider hat dies überhaupt nicht geklappt. Mir wurden über 3 von 6 Gängen trockenes Sashimi, Rindfleisch ohne Beilage und HÄHNCHEN MIT NATURJOGHURT serviert, bis ich mich nochmals beschwert habe. Das geht absolut gar nicht!! Insbesondere nicht an einem Feiertag, für ein Menü was 600 CHF kostet. Hier muss die interne Kommunikation unbedingt verbessert werden.

Great resort, some space for improvement

Positive points: - check-in and reception have been a pleasure, top-notch! - ladies at the SPA were really over the top and went the extra mile to help my wife who forgot to bring her swimming suit. All with honest smiles and a positive mood - the lady who did the special treatment in the 100 degrees sauna has been simply great - service at the lounge bar was spot-on: professional, elegant, precise, kind, simply perfect - great to see that in the Oak Grill restaurant they really know how to make vegans/vegetarians feel welcome with some delicious cuisine. Negative points - breakfast with no cakes! There was nothing like that and when I asked if there was any chocolate-like cake or similar, I have been offered a pancake with Nutella on the side. Really minimum effort from a resort like this. I got better treatment in some 3-star hotels in the past. Also, the person assigned to our table was really rushing making my morning start stressful - personnel at the boutique is very unfriendly. Small suggestion to the management: send them for a "How to smile and make your clients comfortable" training, they really need it!

Amazing experience with amazing view.

One of the most beautiful hotels in the world, everything was great, the spa is spectacular with amazing view, to room was nice and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was really helpful and nice. We will come back for sure.
