Not happy. My husband told the front desk I had limited mobility and walked with a cane. They put us on the 2nd floor with no access with an elevator. It was not only difficult but very painful for me to get to the room. The stairs and hallways are dirty. Rooms have LVP flooring which is better than dirty carpet. Rooms are ok but nothing special. We booked here because of picture on Travelocity but instead of the mountains, we mostly had a view of a metal warehouse. My biggest complaint is that they did not put us on 1st floor even after my husband explained the situation.

Our stay was ok. Location of hotel was good and enjoyed sitting by the fire on upper deck. Breakfast was kind of odd, different from what you’d expect but it was decent. Room wasn’t ready at check in and staff tried to talk me into a different room when I had paid extra for a balcony. Told them I would wait instead. When we got to the room later, the bed wasn’t made and found a used towel and bar of soap on bathroom counter. Had to push my whole body against door to room to open and close it. Hotel seems a lot nicer in the listing than it really is.

The property could use some updating but it was clean and comfortable. Cold breakfast was provided with hard boiled eggs, hummus, cottage cheese, chicken salad, naan, and toast, with several cereal options including oatmeal. We loved the elk chili as a surprising breakfast option! The views are absolutely stunning! We hated to leave but we Will be back!

Great breakfast! Make sure to get a remodeled room

I stayed two separate nights, before and after my backpacking trip. The first night was great! Friendly service, room seem to be remodeled, most comfortable bed and sheets ever! Great experience. When I came back to stay a second night, the woman working set me to a room that already had people in it. When I went back down to figure out the mixup, she didn’t even apologize or acknowledge me. She gave me room 251 and it was supposed to be 215. When I finally got back to my room after hauling my stuff twice down and up stairs, it was less than stellar. The bathroom was not updated. The entire faucet handle comes off in your hand. There was an old school blow dryer holder on the wall but no blow dryer. Neighbors behind the headboard were extremely loud. Bed was still very comfortable and amazingly soft sheets. I recommend trying to get a remodeled room if you stay here. Hopefully they start upgrading all rooms soon. The breakfast spread is pretty great!

Convenient, worth what we paid

Check in was good. Room was clean. Beds comfy. BUT…the walls are thin, and our room connected to marijuana smokers so our room smelled horrible! We stuck towels under the doors. This is a no smoking hotel. Thank goodness the a/c had a loud fan that stayed on so it muffled the sounds from next door. Breakfast is interesting with basic breads, cereals, yogurt, and then there’s the Elk green chili with toppings like onion, peppers, etc. The staff paid close attention to cleanliness and made the place so neat and clean. So…do I recommend this hotel? Sure. It’s about as cheap as you can get for the area. The three of us managed well!
