Our popular beach house has all the creature comforts of home and is centrally located on the Eastern beach of Fraser Island just a stones throw from the convenience of Eurong Resort. Lake Mackenzie, Eli Creek, Champagne Pools, Lake Wabby are all easily accessible.

The cottage:

Our cottage has a nice open plan lay out with all the creature comforts of home. A fully equipped kitchen to whip up a storm, nice large deck to eat the food you so lovingly prepared, as well as private spa in the ensuite off the main bedroom.
Everything you need is here EXCEPT TOWELS....please BYO TOWELS for beach and bath. To keep costs down on your beach stay we recommend bringing the food along with you as limited grocery options are available. There are shops at Eurong Resort which are good for a few basics but choices are limited and at a premium.

Guest access:
During your stay the whole cottage is yours and you are encouraged to use the communal facilities at the resort:
- Pool
- Outdoor spa
- BBQ's **PLEASE REMEMBER - NO glass in the pool/BBQ area

Our neighbourhood is very unique. No bitumen roads, challenging driving conditions, limited phone coverage (Telstra has the best coverage).
This is a place where you come to enjoy the awesomeness that nature has taken millions of years to create. Plan to spend as little time indoors as possible. Grab a map and start exploring. REMEMBER TO CONSIDER THAT THE CLOSER YOU GET TO HIGH TIDE THE HARDER THE DRIVING BECOMES. PLAN TO BE OFF THE BEACH AROUND 3 HOURS BEFORE HIGH TIDE....otherwise you will be driving high up in the SOFT SAND....a slow and laborious task !!!
We are approximately 400 metres south of Eurong Beach Resort with a small convenience store, bakery, gift shop, fuel, as well as buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner at the resort. We highly recommend bringing all your own food as choices are limited in the shop. It’s fine for basics like milk bread, butter and other basics. But best bring all your own fruit veggies and meat!!

Getting around:
All roads on Fraser Island are sand. 4WD access ONLY ! If you wish to get to Fraser Island the quickest way possible you can fly from Hervey Bay in a light aircraft.... contact Air Fraser - they also have 4WD's for rent. Our resort is approximately 3 km from the beach landing area.

During your stay:
PLEASE READ THE HOUSE MANUAL - most of your questions will be answered there. Telstra is the only company with decent phone reception in the Eurong and Second Valley area. If you have questions that aren't answered in our house manual feel free to text me. Please be patient and I will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks for your understanding.
