Average breakfast, as not many options for vegetarians. Not a very warm welcome staff in the morning breakfast room. Cannot recall the name of the two ladies in the breakfast room but they were both unhelpful and when you asked them something they were ready to bite your head off and tell you that you were wrong. Hotel is newly built and close to motorway. Requested to upgrade rooms complimentary was declined saying its not direct booking . Hotel is 12 minutes drive to city centre and close to rugby stadium. We stayed on 4th floor and shower was too slow . Car park is not free so make sure you consider that when booking. Also as you are sharing car park with the rugby stadium make sure there no matches on when you are staying. I returned in the afternoon to a full car park, as there was a match. There was no parking and only managed to find a spot when someone left.

Property overlooks a motorway and IKEA. With a a restaurant named The View, you expect a nice one. My steak was cut by the chef prior to me getting it, but more importantly it was cut before being rested, turning the steak tough - basic mistake for a chef. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were powdered eggs and tasteless. Expect better for a Marriot. Other than that, the hotel and its staff were very pleasant.
