One of the most unique places we've ever stayed. The Hall is on 2000 acres of estate with wonderful walking trails. Your host is Lady Henniker-Major, who greets you and provides a wonderful breakfast experience. There have been halls on this site since medieval times (the current one was built in 1956) so there is a real sense of history here. Our room was comfortable and quiet. It's not over-the-top luxurious (forget Downton Abbey) but it's quite cosy and welcoming.

Staying at Thornham Hall is a pleasure. This is the 2nd time staying there and we will always pick this lovely place each time we travel to Horham Air Museum.

THE AMBIENCE CREATED BY THE OWNER CANNOT BE STRESSED HIGHLY ENOUGH. MAYBE NOT BE CLASSED AS A HOTEL BUT WHO NEEDS A HOTEL WHEN YOU CAN EXPERIENCE SOMETHING AS GOOD AND UNIQUE AS THIS
