Magnifique séjour dans les plaines de Messara
Nous avons passé 5 jours en famille dans le grand gîte, avec nos enfants de 6 et 12 ans. Le cadre est exceptionnel nous avons eu un coup de coeur dès notre arrivée. Le gîte est très spacieux, moderne et confortable, il ne manquait rien. Literie impeccable, et grande salle de bain, ce qui est rare dans les locations de vacances. Difficile de trouver un endroit plus calme, les nuits ont été très reposantes. Vue magnifique depuis la piscine avec des transats en nombre suffisant si jamais vous êtes un groupe d’amis. Nous vous recommandons de venir à plusieurs et de louer les deux gîtes afin de profiter encore plus de la piscine et surtout de la cuisine d’été qui est parfaitement aménagée. Les magnifiques plages de Matala sont à moins de 15 min en voiture, et les villages alentour sont à découvrir. C’est une Crète vivante et authentique qui s’offre à vous dans un paysage époustouflant. Nous avons aimé la gentillesse du propriétaire qui a partagé avec nous ses adresses favorites et qui a tout fait pour que notre séjour soit réussi. Nous mettons 5/5 à ce gîte absolument parfait, notre coup de coeur absolu. Merci Claude, nous reviendrons !!

Wonderful place in the midst of an olive grove
This was the perfect location from which to explore southern Crete including Matala, Kommos beach and the wonderful Agiofarrago beach, which are all really close by (you would need a car to get to those and roads can be unpaved at times). The apartment was new and perfectly furnished. The aircon came in handy on those hotter days. The kids loved the large pool, from which we watched some amazing sunsets. Next to the pool was a BBQ and sitting area with an outdoor kitchen and a lot of shade throughout the day. We made many dinners here watching the sunset and playing games. Claude and Mireille were wonderful and truly warm hosts that made us feel at home in Crete. In all, the location and quality of the house were amazing and we highly recommend this place. We would definitely return here for another holiday in Crete.
