The Kori Kori House was perfect for our stay on Fakarava. Turia was the perfect host and extremely helpful. She arranged airport pick up and drop off taxi service through Fakarava yacht services. She arranged a half day blue lagoon excursion that was one of the best excursions of our trip. The excursion company was Rotoava exursion. Highly recommend both the Kori Kori house and the excursion company. The Kori Kori house is very close to the lagoon with its own strip of beach and kayaks available to use. They have their own dock which is a nice place to view all of the different fish species and black tip reef sharks swimming around. The Kori Kori snack was the perfect place to have lunch. I had the best fish burger ever! Enjoy the view of the lagoon while eating amazing food and enjoying a cold beer. Thank you so much to Turia and her family for a wonderful stay on Fakarava. We hope to visit again!

Clean property back off the beach
Owner was nice & let us check-in early when we showed up from our previous pension. The bungalow was clean & festively decorated with fresh hibiscus flowers when we arrived. I mistakenly thought I had booked Kori Kori Lodge so I was a bit disappointed to have a view of the back of a garage & a derelict boat instead of being beachfront but such is travel sometimes. Hence the reasonable price. House is located 130 steps from the beach and the snack hut. You can see a small sliver of ocean from the house. Free wifi when you are very close to the snack hut. Pros: Pretty palm trees surround the house -watch out for falling coconuts. View great sunsets from snack hut dock. The wind was a life saver to keep the place cool enough for sleeping and windows have screens. There is also an oscillating fan. Large bathroom with a large, tiled shower & good water pressure. Queen bed was comfortable enough, but very tall. Having an outdoor clothesline was super handy & our stuff dried quickly. BYO clothes pins. We dove every day. O2 picked us up each morning in their truck. There is a reef out front with lots of sea life. Water was milky but there is still plenty to see snorkeling. Free kayaks - yay! Bring your own drinking water. Owner was helpful. My French is terrible - Google translate helped. Snack Hut was open 11am-2pm. Good food & drinks, great view. Place could benefit from 1 more bedside table. The only chairs are on the front porch. Streetlights stay on all night.

Great if you’re diving with Dive Spirit Fakarava
Positives: 1) if you’re diving with Dive Spirit Fakarava, it is located a 2 minute walk from your bungalow. 2) quiet 3) excellent “snack” for lunch on property. 4) clean and there is a small kitchen with stove, full fridge and cookware and a washing machine! 5) the management is very friendly. They don’t speak much English. I was glad I studied French for 2 months before my trip. Not so great: 1) property is very unkempt with lots of junk on property. It’s a very ugly site out the back of bungalow. The front view is a bit better. Can kind of see the ocean. 2) they do not provide you with drinking water unlike any other lodging I used on Tikehau, Rangiroa or Fakarava. They also do not provide an airport pick up. Since they didn’t tell me there was no drinking water, I paid the 10 dollar fare for taxi from airport and then had to turn around directly and spend another 10 dollars for taxi to go to market. 3) It is 4 km from the center of town. They do not provide bikes unlike any other place where I stayed, so you must take a taxi if you need to go anywhere. Bike rental is ridiculously expensive: 1500 xpf (about 14 dollars for 1/2 day. ) I never left the property as I dived every day of my stay, ate lunch at the snack, and then stayed in my bungalow. 4) they said there is a hot shower, but during my 6 day stay, I never had hot water. So, I would recommend if you’re a diver who is going to dive every day and doesn’t mind to just stay on the property or if you don’t mind spending the money for taxis or bike rental.
